As with any restaurant when you have Celiac you have to be overly skeptical. We had two waiters and there was a breakdown in communication. I asked what tacos were gluten free and one waiter was told that any are as long as you get them on a corn tortilla. However, when they came out I took a bite of the hot chicken one and had a feeling it was battered. Similarly with the chicken tinga that has crispy jalepenos that were battered. We asked our other waiter who then said no, they are not all gluten free and need modifications to be. Thankfully I only ate a little of the two that had gluten but it was just an upsetting situation. Everyone was so kind and they comped my meal. When prepared correctly the food is delicious.

Most excellent. I had a couple of the tacos - al pastor and birria. The chips and salsa were great. The server was knowledgeable about what was gluten free on the menu.

Waiter was really knowledgeable and there is a separate fryer for chips! Really enjoyed the chilaquiles and variety of GF options

Our waitress was knowledgeable. They have a dedicated fryer for chips. Our waitress even made sure the kitchen took extra precautions with the tacos we ordered. Everything we got was delicious

They have an allergy menu but it doesn’t match anything on the brunch menu. Waitress does not seem knowledgeable. They tried but it still seems unsafe for people with multiple allergies.
I was diagnosed with Celiac a little over 6 years ago. I ate at Saint Añejo last night and was thoroughly impressed! I mentioned my severe allergy immediately and the waitress assured me that the chips were gluten free and most things on the menu can be made gluten free. My friend and I split the queso and street corn and I ordered the al pastor and chicken tinga taco. ALL DELICIOUS and no reaction. If you’re looking for good (trendier) Mexican food in Nashville, this is the place!

I’m torn on my review and stars. I am celiac and got very ill after eating here, I had the pork belly nachos. With that being said, I was with another celiac and she did not get sick after eating the fajitas. We both shared chips and salsa along with queso dip, and margaritas. The server was very knowledgeable and informed and the food was amazing. I really want to give it 5 stars and I’m sure my friend who didn’t get sick would, however I just can’t because of how sick I got.
We had dinner here. Started off with guac (delicious) and chips/salsa. Their chips are done in a dedicated fryer. For dinner I had street tacos (2 beef, 1 pork) in corn tortillas and a side of rice and black beans. As far as GF goes, everything was fine and I did not have any digestive issues. My star rating is only 3 because it's super loud (we could barely talk to each other) and because the food wasn't as tasty as I had hoped. They use a spice in everything that I couldn't quite place but I didn't love it. You might though, so check it out!
