I do not think I was gluten-ed here but I did not find the experience very convincing. Several times I was told what was ‘vegan’ and it took a painful amount of insistence to get accurate data on dishes. For instance, we asked if an Asian dressing was gluten-free, were told confidently it was, asked specifically about soya sauce and THEN they checked and discovered it was not gluten-free. Also, it looks like a lot of the food is pre-prepared so I do not know realistically how confident I would be that they could get that much safely gluten-free. Plus there is a warning on the menu that they cannot guarantee anything with allergens. Maybe with the right serving staff and chef it is a better experience but mine was not good. Compared to other experiences I have had in Malta, this did not compare well.

The food tasted heavenly, the staff had great knowledge about gluten-free food, and the waiter explained the available options. They could make everything gluten-free except for fried calamari.
