So not good. Everyone raves about this place, but I don’t get it. This is the most white-bread Hispanic food I have ever eaten. My enchiladas had barely any cheese, and it they weren’t hot. The cheese wasn’t even melted. The “chili” and sauces and salsas aren’t great. The spicy salsa is the best one, but it was very sweet and I had to mix it with another one to cut the sweet, which made it less spicy. I like spicy. The beans and rice were absolutely terrible. The rice was hard, the beans were not cooked well either and just tasted weird. I ate at 5 pm and had heartburn all night because everything was so acidic. I won’t be going back.
Positive comment: They have a lot of gluten free options and I didn’t get sick. If you like this style of Mexican food you will be happy here.

I've lived in Colorado Springs for years and didn't know about this restaurant until I saw it on this app. Nice place with good food. The hostess asked if we needed a GF menu, a plus. The food was good. Had lots of pineapple and mango, sweet and spicy. The chips are shared in a fryer with non GF, but I didn't have a reaction. I will definitely be back!

The staff was knowledgeable about what foods contained gluten. They had a specific gluten free menu. I had the enchiladas. The sauce delicious. I didn't get ill. We had good service.

Get the chicken fajitas!!! So good. Their chips are however gluten free but cross contaminated.
The portions were large and very good. They have a gf menu.

Great menu! Delicious food. Chips are cross contaminated in the fryer but they will bring you corn tortillas for salsa. I got the spinach enchiladas and added portabello. Beware of the skinny margarita, gran gala brandy added may have gluten, so I asked for it without. They also have a GF beer from Fieldhouse which is a dedicated GF brewery local to CO springs. Very impressed!

Amazing food. Not huge menu but plenty of options. Offered a glove change and really made sure to answer all my questions. Highly recommend 👌

Staff was great and food was delicious. My celiac daughter had gf chicken fajitas and I had gf spinach enchiladas. They have a separate menu, it’s small but provided enough for us to choose from.

We had a lovely dinner tonight on the heated patio. There were lots of GF options. The chips aren’t safe, but they brought me some tasty tortillas that are.

So so so good. I hate the chicken fajitas and they were amazing. The chicken and beef are perfectly cooks and seasoned. I’m defiantly coming back again!

Amazing fresh Mexican food. They had an entire GF menu. I didn’t eat the chips because they weren’t on the GF menu. I had no issues after eating here

Glad I decided to read the latest reviews on here! We had taken them off the list because the last time we were there the experience was not good. Gluten free was iffy and food was not good. Just went and tried them again tonight and it was great!! Separate gf menu now and they were very confident about their gf protocols. My meal was great, hot, fresh, and homemade tasting. We will be regulars once again!

Staff was knowledgeable about gluten free (and dairy free) options. Food was very good. Would definitely eat here again. They have a disclaimer on the menu that says “We are not a strictly gluten free kitchen. While we make every effort to ensure our gluten free menu meets gluten free standards, we cannot guarantee this as airborne contaminants may exist. I am gluten sensitive, but not celiac. Did not have any issues with the food.

I had the taco salad which was delicious and I had no reaction. I did ask about the chips and they are fried in the same fryer as other items so they would not be safe for people with Celiac. But I thought there was a good selection on the gluten free menu.

Staff is very knowledgeable about gluten free. They have a separate section on their menu with quite a bit of options!!! There is potential CC when it comes to eating the chips. I tested my batch of chips with my nima sensor and they were deemed same. I’d recommend having a nima senor check prior to just eating the chips.
Overall a 10/10 experience. This will be my go-to Mexican restaurant and if you’re in the Springs it should be yours as well!!

I’ve eaten there several times. It’s one of my favorites and the food is delicious. I have CD and don’t eat at very many establishments that aren’t 100% gluten free kitchens. They are knowledgeable and have a separate gluten free menu. I have never experienced cross contamination.
