Had the Street Car bowl and it was delicious. No issues and the bartender understood my requirements. The menu is marked with GF items. Nice spot to grab a drink too. Also a great grocery selection of hard to find GF items at to shop for.

Unfortunately they don’t have the mac and cheese on the menu anymore- just a gf pasta salad that the waitress even told my friend not to get because it’s not good. When asked if the truffle fries were in a shared fryer the waitress went in the back and came back and said they were not and there could be cross contamination. Ended up just getting a salad with grilled chicken and didn’t feel great after. Wouldn’t come back

Salted Melon is definitely my new fav restaurant in Charlotte! So many GF options and they are also able to make modifications on other items. They have GF Mac n cheese, pasta salad, truffle fries, etc. The truffle fries are AMAZING! I am super sensitive and didn’t get sick at all. They also have a mini market in the front with tons of GF options. I highly recommend trying the My Dads Cookies. So good!!

There is Couscous on the menu labeled as Gluten Free (not gluten free modification, but truly just *already GF). I asked anyway if they substitute the couscous to make it gluten free, the folks behind the bar said "couscous is gluten free. We use a gluten free couscous. Our chef is an allergy specialist." Ummmm, couscous is a type of wheat, so I've lost faith in how gluten free the labeled options truly are. Cross contamination probably likely if the employees are assuming couscous is gluten free.

SO many gf options—breakfast burrito was delicious but also dying to try their gf Mac & cheese and truffle fries! Nearly half the menu is already gf and mods can be made to pretty much anything. They also have a little grocery section with loads of gf + other allergen-free goodies!
