I just went there and the waitress was very knowledgeable. She asked about cross contamination which meant no fries. But the salad was good Ordered a burger and it came out with a tooth pic to signify allergy and a manager brought it out too.

I was a little nervous about trying this place after reading reviews on fmgf but I had a great experience! I got the nachos and they were great the waitress asked if it was an allergy so I felt that she was fairly knowledgeable. Had no problems after eating. Also tried the gf option for wings and they were really good! I would def get the wings over the nachos next time!

Tonight was my first visit to Sam walkers .. It was very busy, great drink menu, good setup lots of TVs .. a bit loud but that’s to be expected on a Friday night at a sports bar type place and excellent music! They have a few gluten free options, the waitress kept referring to ciders as beer (so I got nervous my drink would get mixed up) I tried to order a magners because I saw it on the main menu and was told it’s served seasonly, that they had two options for ciders listed on a small drink menu on our table. I decided to order a burger because I read multiple good reviews.. including one from our waitress- I asked if the fries were gluten free, the waitress told me yes. Of course I double checked and she assured me that the fries were cooked in a separate fryer. Thank goodness as my tables food was coming out the manager (who was very nice, this was her second visit to our table 1st time because of our appetizer) noticed and asked me if I was ok with my fries being cooked with gluten containing items - I explained I have celiac disease and I’d get very sick and that the waitress told me they were cooked separately. Then … my burger comes out - I ask the sever where is my gluten free roll (yes it was on the menu and I asked for it) says opps several minutes later the roll arrives and my burger was now luke warm. The waitress came to check on us, I told her thankfully I found out the fries weren’t safe before I was served them - she says my fault, I just assumed. Really!? I know you are still newly opened, but .. if offering gluten free items for those of us who have to eat gluten free or we’ll get sick the wait staff should be better educated, it’s stressful enough going out with a food allergy and putting your trust into a restaurant and server. I do understand your newly opened and it was super busy that’s why I’ll definitely give it another try down the road.
