Review of San Angel Inn

We arrived for dinner, during off-season. We informed the hostess of our daughter's Celiac before being seated. Our table was marked with an allergy note and the server was well-informed with gluten restrictions. We ordered the Sopa Azteca, Totopos con Queso and Pollo a las Rajas. All marked as GF on the menu (there is no separate GF menu). Unfortunately, a few hours later, our daughter got very sick and it ruined our vacation. As we brought our own GF food from home for the entire day before dinner, it was clear that the restaurant was the cause. Someone must have royally screwed up our order in the kitchen, because the level of reaction fit a high gluten exposure. We had a great experience a few years back in this restaurant, but not this time. Disappointing! Be careful if you have Celiac disease!
