I learned from the owner that the Santa Barbara Cider Co. was started because one or both of his daughters has celiac. He wanted to brew something that would not endanger them to be around even though they're too young to drink. There is a food truck there with gluten-free options and they have sealed backs of chips and nuts that gluten-free as well.
The best part is that they have the most amazing flavorful, yet very DRY cider. The owner told me that his brewmaster makes sure that all of the fruit sugars are fermented so you don't have that sweet aftertaste or sugar hangover. 16 different flavors on tap, great staff, great customers and a truly unique and delicious (gluten-free, of course!) cider.
