Both the experience and the food was great here. The staff member was able to answer my questions about the precautions they take and what items on the menu were gluten free (marked)
They let me know that they did not have a gluten free fryer. I went with the Mac and Cheese and it was really good, probably in my top 5.
Definitely recommend this place.

Celiac children did well & liked it. Staff was attentive. Menu limited, but seemed reliable and was good for us. Mac & cheese, Flatbread.

Fast, attentive service and all family members were happy with their options. We include celiac needs, GF/DF needs, and those without.

My husband and I ate here twice in the week we were visiting Spokane. I am celiac and chose gf options and had no problems at all; my husband enjoyed both of his full gluten meals as well.

This is one of my favorite places! Excellent variety of vegan and gluten free options, knowledgeable staff, and open to modifications. Although they’re not dedicated GF, I’ve never had a reaction here.

They were quite busy, but the wait staff is great. I actually called a week before going, called the day I was planning to go, and talked to someone while I was there, and everyone gave me the same answers so I felt better about it.

Slow service, but they were busy. Lots of GF options clearly marked on the menu and food was pretty good.
I am Celiac. They have lots of yummy food. I have been there many times and have been safe. Felt good afterwards.

Gluten free dairy free Mac and cheese is horrible. I couldn't even have a second bite. Staff was not educated. I asked if chips were fried in same fryer as gluten. He scoffed and said I don't know.
GF mac & cheese was slightly mushy and takeout poorly packed (lots of leaking in the bag). But the food was tasty, and they seemed knowledgeable about avoiding cross contamination. The pork verde stew was the winner.

I have celiac disease and the staff was knowledgeable and very accommodating. I watched the cook wash his cooking surface, get new pans, new gloves and new cooking utensils when he saw the note about me being celiac. The food is AMAZING and they have many vegan and vegetarian options as well!
Yes
Safe for celiacs if you order Mac and cheese, chili, and chips. Mac and cheese noodles are penne, gluten noodles are macaroni. Good reassurance. Haven't tried other items. Chips are homemade and used in a dedicated fryer and nothing else is fried on their menu.

I have eaten at Saranac many times and have had the same waiter experiences as others, they were very annoyed to talk about vegan options despite having a menu sporting multiple dishes. I decided to eat there last night with my recently retired military officer mother despite some wrong orders and cheese on options we requested in the past. There were no signs about using an ecig and the waitress was very rude telling us not to use, when I asked if it was an establishment rule or law she dismissively walked away and told us just not to do it without answering my question. We didn't use them for the rest of the meal.
My Mother feeling uncomfortable wanted to pay with card to the manager worrying about the attitude of the waitress and we she was given a gift card to compensate. When the waitress came back as we were finishing the meal she had no apology, instead she lead with stating she heard we didn't like the service and wanted to give her their bosses number. We declined and she huffed away to talk to the manager again. But not before telling out entire table we better leave the establishment. We were not finished eating and were confused since me and my fiance didn't say a word throughout all of this to her or the manager, nothing rude, nothing out of place. Just ate out food.
As we were leaving the manager came up to us and told us he has a gut feeling that we should never be allowed back. Confused by this I asked why I was banned and he said "Customers are not right, my staff is" Please never come back. We handed him back the gift card he gave us a moment prior and left, but it left a bad taste in my mouth.
Rude staff, Poor management. A good pretzel, but it doesn't make up for what we experienced eating multiple times with the wait staff. Don't eat here, they straight up told us,
"We Care more about our staff than Customers." Yuppie Much? Location and Attitude, they have it in spades. Without it this business would tank.

I had the Thai rice bowl and share the chips and salsa with a friend. It was fantastic! I have celiac with a dairy sensitivity, am incredibly sensitive and did not get sick! I highly recommend this place!
The Thai bowl was amazing! There are other items noted as gluten free on the menu. I am very sensitive and didn't have any reaction but I've only eaten here once so far.
