Food is excellent! Ordered the spicy pimento burger with fries. They have a dedicated fryer and the fries were crispy and delicious. The burger bun is vegan as well as GF, and it's easily one of the best restaurant buns I've had. Tasted great and held it's structure.
The food is definitely fairly priced for the amount and quality!
Ordered take out on their website which was super easy. I got the cauliflower bites and gluten free Mac and cheese. Both were delicious and zero reactions! Definitely recommend.
(May 2024) Had the Polaroid cocktail, the street corn fries, and the Mississippi fried chicken sandwich. Food was delicious, and the server knew what to recommend and let me know they have a GF frier right away. No separate GF menu but items are clearly marked on the regular menu. Highly recommend!

Savoy Taproom is a haven for those with celiac. They mark gluten-free options on the menu, and the staff is knowledgeable. My personal favorite is the bourbon chicken Mac and cheese – it's everything I've been missing!
We ordered 5 things, they were delicious but a few kitchen mistakes. My daughter has a gluten, egg, nut allergy.
Fried cheese curds: curds itself were tasty. It was served with mayo on the side containing egg.
South street burger. We ordered with gluten free vegan bun but it came out with a regular brioche bun!! We caught it because it looked different than the fried chicken sandwich.
Fried chicken sandwich. Came out perfect with gluten free vegan bun. Very good.
Chimichurri steak. Steak was perfect and very tasty, potatos came out with aoli containing egg. They brought out potatos to replace without the aoli.
Amazing place and super dedicated to gluten-free protocols. Food is always delicious and comes out super fast. My favorites include the brussels sprouts and potatoes bravas. Great selection of creative drinks as well. Staff is super friendly and accommodating, they have dedicated protocols for gluten-free including a dedicated fryer and most everything on the menu is gluten-free or GFA. Would recommend to anyone.
Been here many times never had any issues. Dedicated gluten free fryer. Love the bourbon buffalo cauliflower wings. Knowledgeable staff.
This place was SO good. My cousin and I got a gluten free burger, Mac and cheese, and butter chicken fries. Everything was amazing. A little expensive but worth it. They also had a ton of options
All the reviews I read about the Savoy were so positive. I was looking for something different and they came through big time. I had the Brooklyn Burger with Frys and a fresh lemonade. Each part of the meal rocked! The GF bun was the best I have had to date. It had flavor and it did not fall apart! The burger was perfectly prepared and cooked! The fry’s were out of this world good! Great texture and seasoned to perfection! The atmosphere and clientele was outstanding! Oh, I almost forgot I had zero reaction to any of the food!!! I highly recommend the Savoy! You will not be disappointed!
Absolutely awful. I ordered something that said gluten free right on the menu. I specifically asked the waiter, as i do, “This is gluten free right” and I got a very confident “Yep, always!” When I got my food I was a little skeptical because it didn’t seem gluten free but I had asked my waiter twice so I went ahead and ate it. I looked at the menu, and yep got the wrong thing and this one doesn’t say gluten free. I asked the waiter and he insisted that it was gluten free, it just didn’t say so on the menu. I made him go back to the kitchen to check with the chef because his opinion wasn’t enough for me and my celiac disease. He came back and said that he messed up. He gave us a discount on our food however that obviously is not enough when you know you are going to be sick. I really wish waiters weren’t so negligent especially with a serious thing like food allergies and sensitivities. Will not be coming back here.
I got the “Today Specials” as my meal. I got the cheese curds, street corn fries, chicken club. All were excellent!! They have a separate gluten free fryer. The fries with the chicken club were very good as well!
Listennn 👏🏼 The food is phenomenal, the service is great, and most of the menu is gluten free. The entire menu is crafted to me mindful of gluten, vegan, and vegetarian items. Plus they’re open late night! I highly recommend it and will absolutely be a regular.
Visiting Albany over spring break with my celiac daughter and luckily found this awesome pub. Waitress was great—knew all about GF and explained they have a separate fryer and their GF kitchen handling processes. Food was excellent from start to finish, with a wide variety of options. Bill, the bartender, was charming to locals and visitors alike.
Some of the best food I've ever had! Definitely wasn't expecting this from a bar. Even the drink mixes were home made and non-artificial colored cherries for the drinks. They even fried the fries up separate so our meals were completely gluten free.

Went here twice during our stay in Albany and it was absolutely amazing. Please stop by here if you’re in the area. Burgers are available with gluten free bread. The vegetarian burger that my girlfriend had was absolutely amazing as well, also on GF bread. The burgers were literally amazing and knowing they were GF as well as the fries. We also had cauliflower ‘chicken’ wings(GF) which were also amazing(first time trying them). Worth a visit if you’re in town, drinks are amazing and the staff is super chill and nice about your concerns.
Amazing food. Absolutely delicious. I have been looking for delicious crisp wings for 2 years since being diagnosed and they have the best I have had. I am the only GF person that was in the party and EVERYONE loved their food. The owners girlfriend or something has Celiac. Also bad the Korean bbq pork belly tacos. Sooo good. Will be going back soon. Service was also very excellent
I could have eaten a whole day here and not been bored. They had excellent food, we had the jalapeño fried goat cheese and I had a strawberry salad. So yummy. Excellent people watching spot too.
The staff and kitchen are very well trained. They have a gluten free fryer and cutting boards to avoid any cross contamination. Enjoyed a nice dinner with plenty of gluten free options

Went with my husband and a friend to celebrate my husband's birthday. Neither of them are ceload, just knew they had good drinks. I was excited to see they were gf friendly! They have a lot of gf offerings on their menu! We split the Utica Greens and I had the Caesar Salad with chicken. Big portions, great food, and no cross contamination issues! We plan to go back to see what on their custom drinks menu is gf friendly!
