They were knowledgeable and helpful about GF. The plain pancakes we're good, but the strawberries were from a can and had a mettallic taste. Terribly sweet. Not impressed.

On July 5th, we visited here about 9am. Wasn't terribly busy but there were still several tables available. My wife has a gluten allergy and so when we inquired about their options, the waiter changed his tone completely and we were treated as 3rd class citizens henceforth. I asked for the whole meal to be made gluten free so my wife could share some of my omelet. They did not do this and when I mentioned it, the attitude of the person helping our waiter got worse than it was when she brought our food out because it was a gluten free order. Thankfully my wife didn't get sick. She said the crapes were amazing and my omelet was good. Portions were filling but the wait staff is yet to be desired.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The gluten free pancakes were delicious as well as the omelets. The waitress said there were separate pans and utensils to prevent cross contamination. There were different syrups to choose from, only the peanut butter syrup was not gluten free.

Staff was knowledgeable, food was yummy, & I didn’t get sick at all. I had a lot of options and they told me before they say anything down that I couldn’t have! It was so nice to eat a good breakfast out.

Went here for breakfast...had gluten free blueberry pancakes (they bring you a plate of 5 pancakes). Cook brought them out himself and said that he made sure he changed his gloves before preparing my breakfast. Pancakes were quite delicious- even my leftovers the next day.

So unbelievably good I'm not usually pancake fan but had been craving cinnamon rolls....spoiler alert! They have cinnamon cream gf syrup! They were great with explaining what I could/couldn't have! Basically you can have the meat, eggs, grits and pancakes.

All I can say is, “yum”. You can get gluten free pancakes in any variety. They use Glutino brand mix. I ordered the pecan, my husband ordered the Hershey’s chocolate chip pancakes. Both were wonderful. The waitress we had was very knowledgeable, she told us what was gluten free and what wasn’t.

This place has gluten-free pancakes. We felt confident eating there. The eggs and bacon are not cooked on the same surface as gluten containing foods.

The food is amazing! They are very accomodating! Shelley was our server and she was more than happy to substitute gluten free pancakes! I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and being able to sit down to breakfast with my husband the way we did before celiac! The chocolate chip pancakes with pb syrup were awesome! We will definitely be back when in town!

The waitress Teresa was absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable!! The pancakes are Bob's Red Mill and they are so good. She said they use a dedicated pan for gf!! I will definitely be back. It was so nice feeling normal at breakfast and eating with my husband at a restaurant!!

I had their gluten free pancakes—very good my family enjoyed their omelettes. Our server was knowledgeable. I didn’t get sick. Looks like they have a large selection of items, though not a separate menu. They seem careful.

Had gluten free pancakes didn't think they were good, underdone, but didn't get sick. Ham and eggs were ok if you like that for breakfast. Good place to go where the gluten eaters will be happy. Hard to find anyplace to eat gluten free for breakfast.

This place was great! While visiting the Great Smokey Mountains I knew I wanted to eat at a pancake house, but struggles to fine a place that would cater to my dietary restrictions. Sawyers staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I had banana pecan pancakes and they were super!

Great breakfast. I normally don't eat bread but ordered gluten-free toast with my eggs and bacon. It was very good. My husband had the gluten-free pancakes that were delicious. Definitely felt safe eating here. Waitress was super knowledgeable regarding gluten sensitivity.

I am gluten intolerant & I have Alpha-Gal so no red meat or dairy. I I had the gluten free pancakes & turkey bacon & a veggie omelette & blueberry syrup. I got nervous because my food actually looked liked everyone else. The waitress was really nice and helpful with my allergy. She said that it was Bob Mill GF pancake mix. No reactions. So happy!

Service was great, food was great and they accommodated a large party on a Sunday at brunch quickly and with no mistakes! The gluten free chocolate chip pancakes are a must! The eggs, bacon, sausage, and corn beef hash the rest of the table ate looked and they said tasted good. But I'm gonna be honest all I ate was a huge plate of the chocolate chip pancakes because they were so good!

Sawyer's had a great breakfast. The waitress was knowledgeable about Celiac Disease and marked my order as such. The pancakes were very large and made on a separate grill area from the others. I also had eggs and bacon to go with my pancakes. I suffered no problems from this meal at all and it was a wonderful filling breakfast.

The pancakes come from a box and taste like actual cardboard. That's the only GF option they have.

We all LOVED the food, service and atmosphere. My hubby got corned beef hash, my son got the M&M pancakes, & I have to be gluten free and they have safe gluten free pancakes which were made on a separate grill area. Coffee is really good also. Overall a wonderful experience.
