This place makes everything fresh. Is all gluten free. She offers a lot. Depending what you get, it’s costly but its all good. Her ravioli is great!

I stopped in for lunch hoping to just get some readymade lunch item from the deli case. Instead the person behind the counter asked what I wanted (I asked what their vegan options were) and offered a list of items she could make vegan. I had the MOST incredible sandwich on crusty bread loaded with grilled eggplant, mushrooms, tomato sauce, and vegan cheese.

I also got some ravioli to take home (A++++++) and some arancini, which I haven’t tried yet but I’m sure will be incredible.

Amazing. We had a pizza pocket and a chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. We are happy to have found Schiroso so far from home! We came back for breakfast, and that was fabulous. Definitely stop here if you are in the area.

An amazing dedicated gluten free bakery with a little restaurant. We went for brunch and the owner was so welcoming and accommodating. We went for brunch and had savory crepes, aranchini, tiramisu. We also picked up some frozen items - chicken pot pie, lasagna and tiramisu for later. Everything was so good! Will definitely be back!!!

What a GREAT find! We are visiting family in Woodbridge (we are from Connecticut) and came here to buy lunch and dinner for our son. Everything is gluten free and Celiac friendly—no peanuts or tree nuts either—vegan options as well…the owner was incredibly helpful and kind!! The pizza and penne a la vodka were so delicious that we went back to buy a prepared (frozen) lasagna to bake off for tomorrow!

Handmade gluten free Italian food that you can tell is made with love. Everything here is delicious especially the eggplant parmigiana sandwich and pierogies. Even my grandmother who is not gluten free raves about the food and has gone back multiple times herself to get more

I haven’t had a veal sandwich since being diagnosed with celiac - it’s the BEST I’ve ever had. The bread was sooo good. Got a lot of frozen pastas to try as well. Their menu is very fresh with proper ingredients, the owner Pierangela has celiac and it was VERY authentic Italian.

Pierre angela is so sweet and welcoming. I bought chicken pot pies that she had set aside for me. My kids devoured them as well as the panzerotti. I only wish she would make the vegan tiramisu again. Will definitely stock up again next time we are in from montreal!

I had a breaded Veal sandwich and some pizza at the shop-- it was fresh and delicious authentic Italian food. The pizza was a little oily, but the crust specifically was amazing. I also bought butternut squash ravioli and bagels to enjoy at home and I was blown away by how delicious they were! Entirely GF facility and the owner has celiac, so I felt very safe.

We have dropped in here several times now and I agree with all the other reviews, it’s wonderful! Our favourite is the frozen ravioli. Great desserts in the fresh display case such as squares etc. They also carry a nice selection of dried pastas from Italy and packaged gf cookies and candies from Italy. I have heard that you can get lunch such as sandwiches etc. but they seem to always be sold out when we arrive. So go early. Bring a cooler bag so you can stock up on frozen items!

What an amazing Place!!!! Pierangela(one of the owners ) is amazing. So hospitable and the food incredible. She has celiac and completely understands gluten free and vegan. You are in great hands there. I would highly recommend Schiroso to anyone with a gluten allergy. Not to mention there is the cutest outside eating area if you want to sit and enjoy a gluten free meal. 10/10 for us !!!

A primo gluten free eating experience, we left the store with fresh pizza and veal on a bun and lots of napkins and wipes as we devoured this amazing food in our car due to covid restrictions but it was hot and fresh and we had no worry of exposure or cross contamination. Absolutely amazing - both the food and the service. Sorry we did not find you sooner. Looking sooo forward to the ravioli, cannelloni and perogies. We will be back soon.

THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE OMG!!!!!

I stumbled upon this gem randomly the other day. I literally was going to buy something next door and was awe struck to see, RIGHT BESIDE ME, a celiac safe place to eat!

As a celiac myself, it’s INCREDIBLY hard to eat out, neigh impossible. However, when I stepped in and found out the wonderfully kind owner has celiac, and was present in the flesh, I immediately felt at home. I felt like a kid as a Candy shop!

I tried the vegan pizza, and I haven’t had pizza in years!! So let me tell you, it was better that almost all pizza I ever had in my life (pre diagnoses).

But what REALLY stood out, was the service!! She could not only relate to me, but she made sure that I try it while it was still hot (before I went home), and opened the door for me as I was leaving (she sanitized it after — goes to show her cleanliness and safety through COVID) and as I was taking my first bites in the car, she came out after to give me napkins and ask me how it was, explaining the differences in her pizza and it’s authenticity.

All in all, this place is heaven sent, and I CANNOT wait till the next time im there.

I live in Scarborough, and it’s worth the drive again and again.
