Review of Schiroso Gluten Free Foods

THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE OMG!!!!!

I stumbled upon this gem randomly the other day. I literally was going to buy something next door and was awe struck to see, RIGHT BESIDE ME, a celiac safe place to eat!

As a celiac myself, it’s INCREDIBLY hard to eat out, neigh impossible. However, when I stepped in and found out the wonderfully kind owner has celiac, and was present in the flesh, I immediately felt at home. I felt like a kid as a Candy shop!

I tried the vegan pizza, and I haven’t had pizza in years!! So let me tell you, it was better that almost all pizza I ever had in my life (pre diagnoses).

But what REALLY stood out, was the service!! She could not only relate to me, but she made sure that I try it while it was still hot (before I went home), and opened the door for me as I was leaving (she sanitized it after — goes to show her cleanliness and safety through COVID) and as I was taking my first bites in the car, she came out after to give me napkins and ask me how it was, explaining the differences in her pizza and it’s authenticity.

All in all, this place is heaven sent, and I CANNOT wait till the next time im there.

I live in Scarborough, and it’s worth the drive again and again.
