Tl;dr: before you come out here just know they may not serve you.
I was excited to come out here because they are one of the better gf places in town. Had heard they had a dress code so we wore nice attire. Upon arriving for lunch we are told they can't seat 4 people because the restaurant was booked (even though it was nearly empty except for a few older couples who weren't particularly well dressed by any means AND the website boasts that they have 6 private dining rooms). We get offered two separate high top tables (again, there was no lack of normal tables) but get told they couldn't even move them together (fair) We go somewhere else and then walled by hours later and this place was still empty. When your gf options in town are already very limited the last thing you want is to be denied proper service: I ended up skipping lunch because there isn't much in town. I'm sure they're great based on reviews but just know before making a trip out there that you might be turned away. I won't be coming back because I don't have the time to waste on having to find places that will actually serve me and I don't want to invest more time than I already do in finding gluten-free food
Everything tasted REALLLY GOOD!! would definitely come back.

Excellent German food! They have an allergy menu and were very knowledgeable and accommodating and very patient with my toddler (who also loved everything!). Highly recommend! A great find in our book. They’re the kind of old-school restaurant that serves a bread basket at the beginning and ends with some Andes mints with your bill. Loved it!

Always take the gluten allergy seriously. They have great options other than dessert but they do have GF vanilla ice cream!

Fabulous, authentic Bavarian food, and a huge gluten-free menu!
During COVID lockdown, the owner paid attention to all the requests from customers and rejiggered the menu. All of the sauces and most of the items are now gluten-free!
Having found the place on a search here, I ate dinner there last night. The brilliant Goulash Soup was beefy and earthy, full of flavor. The Ulmer Metzgerplatte (Gluten- and Lactose-free), consisted of two grilled, fresh
Bavarian Bratwurst, served with Sauerkraut, choice of Potato Salad or Potato Snow and Apple-Flavored Red Cabbage. Everything was made in-house and was absolutely amazing! Our service from assistant manager Blair was outstanding
Family-owned and open for 34 years, the great food and welcoming, unpretentious atmosphere make it easy to see why they have so many regular customers. The process are competitive as well. They also have private rooms for parties and wedding rehearsal dinners, etc. Highly recommended!

A great find! All of their sauces are made with cornstarch. The separate GF menu is extensive and provides a wide variety of choices in all meal categories. My meal last night was delicious and caused me no problem. I will be back!

ABSOLUTE BEST MEAL IN YEAR. I have never felt more safe eating out. Yes the food was expensive but it was very carefully prepared. I usually have a bad reaction after eating out, this was the first time I hadn’t in a long time. I got the tiger shrimp in milk sauce, wurst sampler, and a soup.

Spoke with bar tender with Celiac. All sauces are now GF! Very knowledgeable and understanding staff.
Plenty of delicious gluten-free options. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.
They have a GF menu with a quite a few options. The food was good and it was a nice, quiet atmosphere.
Gluten free menu! Excellent meal. The hostess has Celiac and was extremely helpful!!
I was very impressed with the options that were available to me and the knowledgeable waitstaff. I had never gone there before because I figured a German restaurant would have bread in everything, but I ended up going when my friends got married and had their reception there. I called the kitchen ahead of time and they were able to come up with a delicious gluten free meal, and they seemed to understand how to minimize the risk of cross-contamination. The waitress I spoke with has Celiac disease and very honest and informed me that the ice cream would not be safe. I was very appreciative of their honesty, their efforts to accommodate me, as well as their knowledge. It was an excellent experience, delicious food, and I did not get glutened!
