The best GF non gf restaurant in SF. Greatest fresh fish and seafood too. To those super sensitive: manager advised their dedicated fryer for the gf fries are next to the regular fryer and rice flour used for gf fish is next to wheat starch… they were able to sautee fish plain and even gave me fries they made in a pan away from the oil vats. Top notch very aware of how serious some celiacs must be. But remember to inform.
delicious! I got the cod with veggies (just asked for no grain salad and everything else was naturally GF) i think a lot of the fish dishes are like that. All other items are marked as GF on the menu!
Had the salted caramel gelato for dessert and that was wonderful too, very very creamy.
I didn’t have fries, but they do have a dedicated fryer.
Good experience and safe food. Only downside was the server was very dismissive of me (putting his hand up to sush me) when I was trying to explain my celiac and trying to double check things I was ordering. I didn’t get sick from here, the food was nice but I felt extremely unsettled as I was given no confirmation of my my questions.
Using this app found this place on a trip with my mom. The food was exceptional as was the service. The chef made me fried calamari in rice flour and ensured it wasn’t fried in a container anything else had been fried in. Chef did the same for the Dole fish with changing the breading for baking. It was superb.
The waiter was very knowledgeable. We asked if the we could have the grilled sea food mix even though it wasn’t labeled GF. The waiter said you tell me what you want and I will make it work. :-). They made sure the oil wouldn’t cross contaminate the truffle fries. Neither of my son nor I got sick.
The food was amazing, absolutely delicious! Took a little longer for the food to come out for safety reasons, but totally worth it! We had the truffle fries and steak, and both were fantastic!! Menu has GF items marked, but not a huge selection. I was surprised none of the seafood items were marked GF on the menu, but the waiter said we could have gotten fish and veggies after we finished eating.
The waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful. There were items on the menu marked Gluten Free, but me being a picky eater, the waiter helped me customize my meal. I wanted it to be safe, and simple. I had ordered the green salad as a starter and the halibut that I customize with a generous portion of spinach instead of the butternut squash. I added olive oil and a squeeze of lemon. It was absolutely delicious. I would definitely eat there again.

I customized an order because I wanted grilled shrimp and there wasn’t any listed as gf on the menu. So they made me a gf dish of grilled shrimp, rice, veggies, garlic butter.
The server was super knowledgeable about the menu, what was already GF and what could be made GF. The caprese salad was wonderful and the Dungeness crab was reasonably good. The crab bisque was salty and a little sour. I had no after effects.
5 stars for the server and 3.5 stars for the food.
Our waiter was outstanding, even reordered truffle/parmesan french fries so he could replace oil so that I could share in the dish. Even though I thought that was beyond necessary, he really wanted my experience to be good. The lobster bisque was my favourite dish but everything was amazing. The waiter patiently tweaked dishes that are not labeled as gf so that I could enjoy sharing with my husband. I'm a very sensitive celiac and would definitely go here again.
We always eat here when visiting San Francisco. We first discovered it when it was recommended by a local. It's pricy, but the food is worth it. Fresh fish and really good GF lobster bisque. Highly recommend it!
Very good. Have lobster Bisque that is gluten free and a lot of fresh fish that is all gluten free. Very good risotto!
