I loved this restaurant before I was diagnosed and called ahead to see what was possible to get gluten free. They let me know that all gluten free options were clearly labeled on the menu, and that they take cross contamination seriously. There were lots of options! I asked the waitstaff about certain special menu options and was steered away from ones that had sauces that were made with flour. I felt like I was taken seriously. However I am newly diagnosed celiac without gastrointestinal symptoms, so I don’t necessarily know if I’ve been glutened due to cross contamination.

We are here last night. I was looking for some seafood even though I’m not a huge fish eater. They had a couple items marked GF on their specials menu but not on the main menu. One special sounded good but was served with pasta, I asked the waitress if I could modify it but unfortunately she said the sauce was too thin and really didn’t advise it. I ended up ordering the mixed grill entree which came with grilled chicken, shrimp, and veggies. I added scallops and substituted white rice for roasted potatoes out of preference. She did mention there was a glaze they use that could contain very trace amounts from soy, I chanced it and did not have any issues. She mentioned they can modify quite a few things by swapping rice for pasta and such.

While seven fish does not have a dedicated gluten free menu the wait staff is very knowledgeable about the food preparation and sauces.Dining there with two gluten free diners alterations were made to our meals that did not sacrifice quality or the deliciousness of the meal.Good variety on the menu, lovely ambiance, service and top notch food.
