Cashier didn’t know about safety precautions but person making the pizzas did. Said while there is flour in the air, they prep the gluten free crusts on a different, freshly wiped down counter space and bake the pies on a screen so that they don’t touch the pans. Oven and pans are shared. You can watch them do this prep. I had 2 pizzas and did not get sick which is great, but we also stopped in towards the end of the night around 11 when they had no other orders working. A good option for late night but I would be more cautious if it’s lunch or dinner hour.
This was a very good gluten free pizza! Flavors, toppings, texture, I was very pleased and will order from them again. The staff did make sure that I knew there was flour in use at the facility but that they did have procedures in place for the gluten free orders. Happy to report that I had a VERY good pizza, and did not get sick. :)
Sexy Pizza is a great local pizza restaurant that does dine-in, carryout and delivery. They have a very tasty gluten free crust that comes in an individual size so you can order pizza with family and friends or for a night on the couch by yourself!
Didn’t have a great experience here and wouldn’t go back. Was very excited after seeing the point about gluten free and allergen menu on their website. We showed up and I let them know I’m celiac and they didn’t add any note — I asked them to please add a note because I had a severe allergy. Then a guy came up and said there’s literally flour everywhere in the air and was so rude about my allergy. I felt essentially catfished into showing up here for gluten-free and then was charged $6 upcharge for them to tell me it’s not even safe. If they’re going to offer and advertise safe gluten-free, they should at least have protocols and the team should be more serious about handling it.
Tasty, good texture gf crust pizza with interesting topping options. Seems like they might their own dough.
