Major safety concern. I thoroughly explained the gluten allergy/cc. Received the gluten-free food with a wheat pita chip on top. Told them I was sorry but I could not eat it. The Cook replated the food minus the pita chip. I set the food to the side to take home to family members. The Cook asked how the food was and I explained I could not eat it. He said he put it on a different plate and it was fine. I had to explain that I have a severe allergy to the wheat in the pita chip and I’m not allergic to plates.

They have plenty of options since a lot of Indian food is naturally gluten free. The waiter told me that the only dishes made with wheat are those made with spinach or naan bread. Just to be on the safe side, I avoided anything else that seemed like it might contain wheat, such as anything battered and fried. I tend to be a little paranoid because there's been times (at other restaurants) where the staff say something is gluten free, but then double check for me and find out it's not. I ended up having the tikki masala and didn't get sick.
