Employees here were so nice and the food was delicious. The kaarage in particular is amazing!
Entire kitchen is GF! Music to my ears. I've tried so many times to eat sushi and it's generally ended badly (for me). Enter this spot! Beautiful menu full of GF options included tempura veggies, karaage chicken, soba noodles, and rice dishes. Definitely recommend if you're missing Japanese food! Lots of vegan options too.
Fantastic, quality Japanese restaurant. Being entirely Gluten Free, it is safe for Coeliacs. The soba noodles are made from 100% Buckwheat, grown in Tasmania. The Buckwheat is milled each day, at the restaurant, to make the soba noodles so they are super fresh and tasty. Please note there are 2 other Shimbashi restaurants owned by the same people in Melbourne but they are not totally Gluten Free. Go to the one in Smith Street, Fitzroy.
This place has a totally gluten free menu. Their house made soba noodles are 100% gluten free and the menu actually states that everything on the menu is gluten free. I have eaten here three times now and it is my fave gluten free place! You can eat tempura, ramen and basically all the things you might be wanting at other Japanese places but couldn’t, plus this place is delicious! I loved their sister store in the city before I was diagnosed and used to go there all the time for their soba noodles! Was genuinely over the moon when I found out about this place.
