Had the scallops and they were amazing! We appreciated the server’s knowledge of what I could eat (gluten-free items weren’t noted on the menu, the cook had to omit an item for be to be able to get the scallops). Food was delicious and setting its warm and cozy.

Fabulous waiter that told me to figure out what I wanted on the menu and they could modify anything to be gluten free. Also, cooked everything separately for me so I had no reaction! They even had a gluten free chocolate dessert that was TO DIE FOR!

I ordered the eggs Benedict, one of several menu items that I was told was gluten free. My husband had shrimp and grits. Luckily, that too is gf so I got to try his food too. Both were really yummy and I’ve had no issues. The biscuit with the eggs Benedict was one of the best, gf or otherwise I’ve ever had.

We came in on a Saturday, July 3rd. They were wicked busy— but still were patient letting me know what could be done gluten-free. I had a salad, I did try the scallops as well. There was not a separate menu and this particular night they did mark any GF (as I understand it, they update the menu daily?)

We made a reservation for a Sunday evening dinner and had a great experience. It was fairly busy so we did have to wait for our table, but the service was excellent. Our server listed all the gf options (which was most of the menu) and was knowledgable about cross contamination. I ordered gazpacho and the vegetable plate which were both delicious. There were no gf biscuits on the menu when we went which was a bummer but they can be available if you call a few days in advance. Would recommend this restaurant!

Superb GF dining experience, with biscuits such a highlight that I bought extras to bring back to the hotel, and we're going back tomorrow night to get a dozen more to bring home. Life-changingly good biscuits. Currently only available Sat/Sun, but if you call ahead a day or two, can be procured on off days.

Haha, damn, the biscuits. Other aspects of dining also wonderful! Knowledgeable staff, lots of GF options, delicious food, great drinks, terrific atmosphere. Just a great all-round experience, highly recommended!

We are in Charleston and tried to go to one of our favorites, 82 Queen, but they weren’t seating parties of more than 4 outside (our son is in the navy and can’t eat indoors yet). We took our family of five to the closest place we could find on Find Me Gluten Free, Slightly North of Broad (S.N.O.B.) Let me tell you, my celiac daughter has never been happier with it going that way. They only had gluten free biscuits and waffles. No CC risk there. We were told that practically every dish could be made gluten free. I mean just look at this biscuit. It was amazing. They do bring cornbread to the table that isn’t gluten free, but were upfront with that and super knowledgeable. The gf waffle was sweet and didn’t even need the syrup. So good!!

Dinner was a good experience! I got the scallops dish, and the server checked to make sure the miso sauce was gluten free. The kitchen used gluten free soy sauce to make the miso. No gluten free biscuits available at a 5:30 dinner reservation sadly. Overall, this was a great find, and I (very sensitive celiac) did not get sick.

After reading another post here I wanted to go but didn’t have time... so I called and ordered biscuits (They normally do not sell them as an item. They give them to you when you are seated. But after talking with them, they agreed to sell me biscuits. This was very nice of them!) They were HEAVEN! The best. Ever. If this is a representation of how they cook I’ll have to go back when I have more time. Yummmm!

The waitress knew about celiac without telling her which was a great first sign! Although there is nothing marked gluten free on the menu, almost everything either already is or can be altered to be gluten free. I had the sausage stuffed farm quail with a side of Charleston gold rice. No issues with cross contamination at all! They were even nice enough to bring out leftover from breakfast gf biscuits as the bread starter and they were simply incredible. I definitely would come back!!

The staff was very knowledgeable and understood the importance of cross contamination. There was NOT a separate menu when we went last night, but 80% of the menu was already gluten free or easily adjusted. The other 20% was off limits because of inherent gluten or required use of the shared fryer.

They didn’t have “specialty “ gluten free food, it was just whole food dishes without gluten. It was good.

My wife ordered the veggie platter and the chef pan fried the two fried veggies on the platter instead of using the fryer instead of just leaving them out, that was a nice touch.

Nice atmosphere. Cute restaurant. Staff was very friendly. If we were staying more than a night in town I’d go again.

A restaurant that has it all! My husband brought me for a surprise birthday dinner and we sat at the chef’s table facing the kitchen. Cocktails, food and especially the service were all phenomenal! The waitress was aware it was my birthday and we were given complimentary prosecco at our arrival and a complimentary dessert, which was the pot de creme which was out of this world! I am gluten free and the waitstaff was very knowledgeable about my options even beyond what the GF menu offered down to being sure NO cross contamination occurred. They had a gluten free menu. However, the server did not seem knowledgeable about what gluten free really meant. Staff needs to be better trained. For instance, she told me that they could swap out the grits for something else if I wanted (grits are GF). I ordered the crab cake from the GF menu. It was brought to the table along with avocado on toast (toast not mentioned on GF menu). I asked if the toast was GF (it was not), she realized her mistake, and brought it back to the kitchen. I told her I would need the whole thing replated, and she said no problem and apologized.

Kid 1 liked their hamburger, kid2 liked their steak frite. Husband liked his shrimp and grits. After they brought me the GF version, I liked my crab cake very much. The chili verde was excellent. Staff was friendly but misinformed.

I ate here twice about 5 years ago because S.N.O.B. was so excellent. And brought my family back on my return to Charleston. Our server was phenomenal, And gave me excellent guidance. While the gluten-free menu was more extensive than I think I've ever seen, I knew I was going to have the Shrimp n Grits, because it was so incredibly good on a previous visit. It's definitely the best I've ever had. I finished off my meal with a Chocolate Pots de Creme, which did not disappoint. We'll likely return for dinner a 2nd time on this trip because S.N.O.B. is so very reliably gluten-free and the food is excellent all-round. Delightful atmosphere also.

this was so unfortunately disappointing. I read after the dinner that they changed chefs last year, so maybe that's why?? I heard such good thing and was really looking forward to a great meal. my group if 4 all felt the same. our dinners were either not cooked correctly (meat, seafood) or were very bland. considering the price it was not worth it. we split the shrimp and grits as an appetizer and that was average, not the best I've had but good. for my meal I tried the grouper with Carolina rice - both were unfortunately bland.
