Review of Smithsonian National Zoological Park

While spending the day at the zoo, I stopped by their various food vendors looking for GF options. I happened to notice that the Italian Kitchen at Market Square at Panda Plaza offers a 7" gluten-free pizza for $7.50. The pizzas come in cheese, pepperoni and "specialty" and are made to order. There is an additional 10 minute wait to cook these pizzas. Given the heat of the day, I did not personally try one but thought it worth noting that there are options available.Other options around the park include bottled juices, water, fresh cut fruit, and additional food offerings (did not inquire about other options).
