I’ve been to snooze a plethora of times and never gotten sick. They can make almost anything gluten free, and if you tell them it’s an allergy they’ll make sure it’s in a different pan and such. Overall I’ve had good experiences here and the staff members have been very accommodating
I have been to this location numerous of times and have never gotten sick. A majority of the menu can be modified to be GF. I have only ever gotten the pancakes & every time they mark it with a “gluten free” flag. When I went yesterday the food runner brought out our plates & they weren’t flagged so we immediately asked if they were GF (they were not) so they had to make our order again.
Was assured that everything was GF and staff seemed knowledgeable. Had the worst reaction I’ve had since moving to Nashville, so serious I was convinced I was given glutinous pancakes rather than it just being cross contamination. Got offered a free meal, ha! As if I would come back to cash that in! GF, yes you can eat here. Celiac, absoloutely not.
I unfortunately got pretty sick eating here. Yes most of the food is gluten free but according to some of the reviews here it seems like things are prepped on shared surfaces. I think I got a little unlucky with my waitress too as she was pretty dismissive of my celiac questions but most people seem to have a better experience. Ate the crab and asparagus omelette so assumed I was making a decently safe choice anyways but not doubt wound up sick in the end from it somehow. All in all, it seems like they probably do what they can but it’s a busy place with ample opportunity for cross contamination and I don’t think I’ll be returning
*BE AWARE ALL SURFACES ARE SHARED* We came here to eat and waited till it was slow so we could ask questions and not be rushed. We spoke direct with the chef and cooks who informed us ALL SURFACES ARE SHARED SURFACES, so if you need celiac safe, ask if they can make in a separate pan. Thankfully they did this for us and we ate great! Not sick. Got the pancake flight and maple bacon and did well. Also had lemonade mimosa. Again, not entirely celiac safe but they will take precautions IF they have time. They cooked mine in a pan on other side of kitchen on stove because they had time. I THANKED them a million times but please know that ALL surfaces are shared.
We were visiting Nashville for a wedding, and as to be expected for many with Celiac Disease, I was nervous about meals. I found Snooze on this app! It had great reviews so we checked it out! The staff was extremely knowledgeable about Celiacs and stated that there were only 5 options on the extensive menu that couldn’t be made GF. They knew the proper preparation steps to take in the kitchen and made me feel like a normal customer, not like a nuisance with a billion annoying questions. I ordered the 3 egg scramble; the hash browns were naturally GF so I only had to substitute the toast! The atmosphere was great! We had a wonderful time!
Staff is knowledgeable about food allergies and the gluten free pancakes and french toast are as amazing as the standard variety. The OMG French Toast lives up to its name!
The food was pretty good, they had a variety of different GF options, the waitress was knowledgeable about celiac. But they were definitely busy, took us about an hour to get a table so I suggest that you reserve a spot using their app through yelp, specially if you’re going on the weekend.
Nearly everything is gluten free or can be made gluten free. We had omg French toast, and strawberry shortcake pancakes and a crab/asparagus omelette and vanilla Matcha iced latte. All gluten free with allergy precautions. Waitress was so nice and helpful. Restrooms and indoor decor are awesome. Outdoor seating with a fan, and heaters for winter too. Nice music and ambiance too.
Great food, great people! We had the gf French toast, it was delicious. The people were so sweet and kind. I wish we had a restaurant like this near us. A wonderful experience!
A ton of things can be made gluten free, despite not being labeled on the menu. Kitchen knows to make gf things on separate cooking areas when marked with “allergy”. Waiter specifically stated that they do this so there is no cross-contamination concern. However, I think there probably still is a CHANCE just because there is regular flour in the restaurant. I had the gf pancakes and they were SO fluffy. You’d have no idea they were gf. Pancakes came out marked gf
Wonderful service, delicious food. Felt incredibly safe eating there as the waitstaff was knowledgeable.
Fabulous food, great service. Wait staff was attentive to my gf needs. Did not get sick!
This place is amazing. Their menu only has 5 things that can’t be modified GF. I asked about food prep and cross contamination, the waitress went through their detailed EIGHT step process in the kitchen. They basically wash hands and change gloves every time they touch your food. All utensils are changes and surfaces cleaned. It comes out flagged and they announce its GF when they set it down. I had the avocado eggs Benedict and cinnamon toast pancake. Both were amazing. Best pancake I’ve ever had.
They have a lot of great gluten free options but I ended up getting glutened here. I ordered through Ubereats and the app allowed me to let the restaurant know I have a “gluten allergy” so they should have known I have celiacs. Things are more likely to get missed if you order through an app instead of in person so I might give them the benefit of the doubt and try again in person. I was really hoping to find a good gluten free breakfast place.
I have been to other Snooze locations for the GF pancakes before so I was excited to eat them again. I was so incredibly disappointed. The pancakes were tiny, tasteless, and so dense I could barely cut them. I have not eaten gluten free food this bad in years. Maybe it was just this location but wow. No words.
This place is incredible! The food was high quality and safe. So grateful for this app and the people providing reviews. To go out of town and not be afraid to eat is a blessing.
