We had a great experience at snooze. We made sure to speak to a manager and order with a “gluten allergy”. We are sensitive celiac and had chocolate chip gf pancakes, cinnamon roll gf pancakes, fried egg, bacon, hashbrowns and a crab (real so safe) and asparagus omelette with hollandaise. Very tasty and no one was sick. Food comes with a gluten allergy stick so look for that. Almost everything on menu can be gf but not necessarily on the menu. They do also have gf bread for toast or French toast.
I’ve been to this location a bunch and never had any problems.
I love that you can filter out all your allergies on their website. I usually get the hash browns and a couple pieces of sausage or bacon and that fills me up.
Super bonus points: I can eat here with my veggie and vegan friends!
First, I’m celiac and did not get sick.
We ordered takeout online. Each item we looked at had the option to customize and specify allergens.
I had scrambled eggs with bacon, cheddar, avocado, mixed greens and gf toast. Bread and bacon were very flavorful. Generous with cheddar, scant on avocado. My daughter got the gf version of the Buddah Bowl. It was good. We agreed that both meals would have been better eat-in… breakfast in general doesn’t take-out well.
Staff was knowledgable. The manager caught a kitchen mistake with non-gf toast. It took longer to get my order but he had them remake my entire order to eliminate the possibility of cross-contamination. Kudos to him!!! Because of the delay, he also gave me coupons for free gf pancakes on my next visit.
Great experience! Gluten free pancakes are cooked separately and come with a flag. Most pancake toppings are gluten free. They said they had gluten free toast for the benedicts, but I did not try one. The hashbrowns are safe, but I found the taste just ok. The pancake portions are huge, the hashbrown portion was large, but was more appropriate. Would definitely seek out this chain again
They are able to offer all of their pancake and French toast options GF. They have corn tortilla for the taco options and GF bread for sandwiches. I had the GF strawberry shortcake pancakes and my husband had the GF stuffed French toast. They were both delicious, had a great texture. Could not tell they were GF. Would def visit again.
This was my second time eating here and both times have been positive and experiences! I get a lot of anxiety when going out to eat for fear of cross-contamination but the staff here is knowledgeable and will mark items as a gluten allergy so the kitchen is aware. (It marks it on the receipt so it’s an added level of trust that I know the kitchen staff is aware of the precautions they need to take). Delicious and is especially nice to have a trusted breakfast option. (Highly recommend the smashed avocado benny!)
