This place is so good and offers so many GF options. Our party had a pancake, omelet, ham Benedict, toast, hashbrowns… all GF. The food comes out with a little stick in it that says gluten free. They seemed very knowledgeable. There is always a long wait, so get online and jump on the waitlist.
Snooze is super yummy and I loved eating there when I was in Denver years ago. Unfortunately, it really isn't celiac safe. My waiter was knowledgeable about GF and even put an allergy warning on our food which made me feel really good about it. But...in the end I still had a pretty significant reaction. I think there's just too much going on in the back for it to be Celiac safe. We had the hash brown stack and a pancake. Maybe if you just stick with the savory you'd be ok? Unsure. As much as I love it, I won't be going back again. Two stars because it's delicious and if you just need gluten free "friendly", you'd have a great brunch.
I was surprised at the level of care our waitress took to let the kitchen know of our celiac allergy. The awesome part was that our waitress has Celiac as well. She assured us that it was safe and made some amazing recommendations. I ate the shrimp and grits and my friend Lindsay ate The Snooze. It was delicious, right portion and really quick to come out. For someone who has lived in several places in the south, this restaurant exceeded my expectations. I am definitely pinning this place to come back to and share with others. Thanks for making my dining experience such a positive one without all the things that come with this disease. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
They brought me the wrong pancakes...then they tried to tell me it was the pancakes i ordered. The bloating i experienced after eating there confirmed there is likely a good bit of cross contamination. This place seems like most restaurants. To your face they make it sound like they take every precaution. But given i cant confirm what they say, ive had bad bloating after eating there several times and they have a huge cc disclaimer on their menu it is doubtful they are safe.
I’m recently diagnosed Celiac, and this is the first restaurant I’ve dared to go. I will say that their servers could use some food allergy training. Literally the first thing the server says when I asked if the chai tea latte was GF is, “Gluten is like wheat right? It should be fine.” I tried to clarify that I’m Celiac and that he would be surprised how many things contain gluten, and he says, “I’m not a dietitian so I wouldn’t know.” I had to ask him if he could check with the kitchen, which he really should’ve just done in the first place. It seems like the kitchen has better knowledge of Celiac because after he spoke to them, he was a lot more confident that our meal would be safe. Even so, he continued to show his lack of knowledge when we ordered our food. For example, my partner ordered the shrimp and grits and I asked if that would also be celiac safe so I could try it. He said something like “grits is made with corn so yes.” It made me nervous that he was unaware of the many places gluten hides (sauces, shredded cheeses, spice mixes, etc.). Food ended up being great though, and I don’t feel sick!
They don’t have a separate gluten free menu but they can prepare almost anything on the menu gluten free. I’m very sensitive of the last three places I ate out I got sick but I didn’t get sick here so I’m super happy to have one restaurant on my list of safe places to eat! I even asked the waitress to note how sensitive I am to gluten and they took extra time to prepare my meal to limit cross contamination. I had the avocado Benedict it was so good!!
I can’t believe this place exists in Fort Worth. It can be very crowded sometimes, but the food is amazing. I had the two Eggs Benedict plate and split a pancake flight (pineapple, sweet potato, and blueberry). Everything was fresh and tasty, and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the gf options.
What an amazing place! So many gluten free options. I had the sweet potato pancakes and bacon. So delicious and absolutely no reactions. I would recommend this place to other people with Celiac. Our server was excellent as well and took time to assure me of the kitchen's practice to avoid cross contamination before I even ask him about it. They flagged my meal as Celiac and not just gluten free.
I’m not a celiac, but I am super sensitive and had no problems eating here! The French Toast Neat is heavenly, and they gave me a free pancake for my birthday. Also had a half order of the Sweet Potato Hash; so yummy! Definitely going back!
Found this place today using this site. It's hard to find places that have GF pancakes, BUT this place has them and they are amazing!!!! Menu does say gluten friendly and they can't guarantee CC wont happen BUT I didn't get sick afterwards. I'm not celiac but am very sensitive.
Great place for GF as well as regular items. The GF pancakes were amazing. Highly recommended. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Our experience was absolutely awesome!!! Just about everything on the menu was available gluten free !!!! The presentation was perfect, the waite staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was great. You’ve got a visit this if you’re gluten-free and having a hard time finding someplace to eat breakfast. !!!!
AMAZINGGG, basically everything on the menu can be made GF, with no cross contamination. They made sure to put it was allergy and it came out with a clearly GF label. The bread wasn’t dry and crumbly (like a lot of GF breads are)…pancakes were fluffy. They have GF pancakes, French toast, bread and much more!! Staff was so nice and attentive. Highly highlyyyy recommend and I will now be a regular after my experience service and food wise.
