Service is always great, it has a fun atmosphere, and the menu is wonderful! I’m just a tad wary of visiting now. Last time I went, they delivered a marked gluten free pancake to the table since I mentioned I had celiacs. My friend and I shared it and also ordered the same omelet main, no toast. Though I’ve never had an issue with cross-contamination. An hour or so later I got violently ill and was sick for the next 5h. It didn’t last long enough to be food poisoning, so I suspect the pancake was not gluten-free. 🙁

Oh man this place was a little bit of heaven for me!!! They offer lots of gluten free options!!! I was so excited that I could get French toast and pancakes and they were GLUTEN FREE! The waiter was very knowledgeable about celiac and reassured me they take every precaution to make their gluten free items safely. I had the pancake trio and it was sooooo delicious! I can’t wait to go back for the French toast! I had no reaction after eating here. What a blessing!

Yummiest breakfast and pancakes ever for a celiac like me!
We ate breakfast here 3 times in 5 days in San Diego. The options were endless and delicious. My kids were so comfortable with eating there and no reactions. The waitstaff was excellent too.
The gluten free options are endless! There are only two things on the menu that can not be made gfree. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. My new favorite breakfast spot.
Excellent food, carefully prepared as illustrated by the extra time they took cleaning the kitchen prep area so don’t arrive in a rush, or let them know ahead of time. Numerous choices - they don’t even mark the items on the menu and say everything can be made gluten free, but be prepared for substitutions (GF bread in place of English muffins on the numerous varieties of eggs Benedict).
Also note the hours: they are strictly a morning place and are close at 2:30pm.
A very small caveat: their black tea seemed to have a fruit added - unexpected and not our fave, but I’m sure they would have replaced if asked.

I’ve been here twice and each time the service and food were excellent. Many options for GF. I’ve had the pancakes and the OMG French toast. It’s a treat to come here.
Yes
Yummy place! I got the OMG! French Toast. All of their pancakes or French Toast could be made GF. My kids ordered apple juice and chocolate milk with their meals. The apple juice was so yummy, more like cider. My son said it was like eating an apple. The chocolate milk was thick and chocolatey. Only complaint is that portion sizes were on the smaller side and we all left still feeling a little hungry. Kids plates needed another pancake with it. My plate could have used an egg or side of bacon...something. Definitely would come here again.
Yes
Very tasty. Menu items “can be prepared GF” which is always a bit unsettling. Got scrambled eggs, hash browns, GF bread and avocado as an extra topping. Great portions, great coffee.
Staff was very knowledgeable about allergy options. We are gluten, dairy, and soy free. All of their gluten free options contained dairy. Other than that the food was very good and so was the wait staff. They use mixes so they can’t swap ingredients out to help make allergy free dishes. Had a good time and enjoyed the food despite our limited choices.
Yes
Yum...just yum!! Thank you Find me gluten free for the awesome suggestion!!! Almost everything can be accommodated to GF and they were very knowledgeable.
Yes
Their gluten-free pancake trio is amazing! They also have GF toast for French Toast and as a side to the traditional bacon and egg breakfast.
Amazing!! Best pancake I’ve EVER had, even before diagnosis. So good, I wrote a review about it on my blog: onebiteglutenfree.com

They know what they are doing even they are the busiest. Go and eat without thinking about it. Nima tested! Had Benny avocado smash and hash browns. Both were delicious. Loved the place. Just wish they had a bigger gluten free bread instead of a small slice.
Yes
The staff new how to prepare celiac safe food and I didn’t get sick! Best pancakes I’ve ever had since diagnosis.
Yes
The staff here are fantastic, they are very knowledgeable about the importance of a gluten free diet for a coeliac. The food was amazing. You must go here.

This place is a must for celiacs in San Diego! I had 2 breakfasts here: pineapple upside down pancakes(2 giant pancakes, super filling!), and French toast neat (more basic but totally awesome!) I felt very confident that my needs were understood, and it was all fantastic!

One of my favorite places in the world! I used to live in California and while I was there I didn’t like pancakes in general which is mostly what the have there, but I can say that they have amazing hot chocolate and bacon. When we went back to visit I was able to get which OMG French toast which was AMAZING!!!
Anyway snooze is the best, always has been always will be😊
This place was amazing and the staff was knowledgeable about Celiac issues! It’s been so long since I’ve been able to eat delicious pancakes... I almost cried they were so good! The pancakes were huge and the scrambled eggs side dish was also wonderful. I’ll definitely be back.
Yes
The food was amazing! I got three different kinds of pancakes and all where made with GF batter. All very good and I would highly recommend going. The wait was long but the staff was very friendly. Also did not get sick after wards but I don’t think there is a set aside kitchen area for those are very sensitive
Amazing!!!! The o my issue is how to not eat everything on the menu! Complete peace and safety to eat as a celiac but then to have such amazing food. Wow! Had the eggs Benedict and the pi able pancake on the side. Tempted to move to San Diego just so I can eat here more. And shockingly the green tea cucumber monitored so good!
Yes
Staff was amazing and so was the OMG French toast!
Yes
The GF pancakes did not make me sick - 3 stars - but they were tiny and expensive so I can’t go higher. The waiter charged us full price ala cart for our 6 year old’s breakfast, even though they do have a kids menu. If you’re going, plan to wait for a table. We waited 45 min on a Tuesday morning.
I ate here twice on a trip to SD two weeks ago. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff was knowledgeable. They are able to modify some items too. Wish they had one in KS!
Yes
Sooooooo delicious and I felt very safe since the staff uses dedicated prep for Celiac’s. Able to substitute gf bread for anything on the menu. I had the “beat sandwich” with fried egg, bacon, arugula, and bacon-tomato aioli. Amazing!
Yes
Non celiac gluten intolerant here! I’m also Dairy Free. I got their classic breakfast (eggs bacon hash browns and toast) they have gf toast but I didn’t want any. The server was very kind and assured me they would keep dairy and gluten away from my plate. There is a disclaimer on the menu that there is a risk of cross contamination so may or may not be safe for celiac I can’t say. I also always take a gluten and dairy digest pill when I eat out. All of that being said, the food was delicious and I felt great after!!
One of our favorites! It’s a wonderful breakfast that’s safe for celiacs. All you have to do is specify celiac when you order and they know exactly what to do. So comforting and stress free.
Yes
Great gluten free menu, awesome service! May have a line when you go you can always check in with he bar as well for faster seating! Loved the O.M.G French toast! So delish!
Yes
Very celiac friendly. Food taste amazing and great service
Yes
everything on the menucan be made GF! Didn't ask about shared space or fryers because that is not part of my illness. but loved the attitude and care of the wait staff!
Almost the entire menu can be modified gf and safe for celiacs. The options are endless and I need to go back to try more yummy food: eggs benedict, hash browns, French toast, corned beef hash, etc. I haven't felt this satisfied and excited about brunch in awhile.
Yes
So good I had to go back again, loads of breakfast options
Yes
My family LOVED this place for the food and service but not for the wait (1 hr 45 min on a Sun morning). Even my Dad was impressed which is rare. All by 3 items can be made gluten-free on request!
Great food, ever greater service. A must go to for breakfast!
MUST GO! The staff was super educated abut food allergies. If you can't have dairy you cant have the pancakes or waffles bc they use cup for cup flour which was disappointing but great they knew that! I opted for the plain French toast instead which they used almost milk for..so nice!
Just moved to San Diego and this is my new favorite restaurant! A lot of breakfast items are already gluten free or can be made gluten free. They have excellent gluten free pancakes! Everyone that works there is super friendly and very knowledgeable about gluten free items. I have eaten breakfast here twice in the past week and have had no issues with being glutened. I highly recommend Snooze!
Yes
Staff very knowledgeable about cross contamination, wipe down the grill before making GF food, plus it was delicious awesome breakfast and lunch place pancakes French toast! Service was super

The most amazing breakfast I've ever had. After much deliberation I settled in the OMG French Toast, with a side of hash browns. I've never had anything like it! Great service too. Don't miss this place!
Yes
Incredible. So friendly, so helpful and SO delicious. Cannot recommend enough. My boys had GF pancakes, I had the snooze classic with poached eggs, bacon and GF toast. It was beautiful. They also spoilt us with a free GF choc chip and cinnamon butter pancake. To. Die. For. Staff were well educated and customer service focused. Such a refreshing change for us as a GF and dairy intolerant family.
First time I have had egg's Benedict in a long time, and it was even on super yummy gluten free bread. Went on a Tuesday at 9, so there was no wait
Good lawd, this place is good. Celiac here, went three days in a row. We didn't care to even look for another place, it was so good. And the staff are awesome.
Yes
Fabulous restaurant. So many choices. I ended up getting the breakfast tacos (corn tortillas) and one gf pineapple upside down pancake. Both very tasty although I thought the tacos were better. Waiter did warn of gluten/flour in the kitchen. However I'm extremely sensitive and did not get sick.
WOW! Hands down the best breakfast restaurant I've ever been to. We are both Celiac and I am normally very sceptical of any eatery I'm not familiar with. But based on the reviews, I was willing to risk it. After talking to the waiter I felt comfortable enough to try. And how happy I am that I did. Highly recommended.
Excellent location, great breakfast food. I recommend the blueberry Danish, it's amazing. :)
Yes
Loved them! My Sweet Potato pancakes were so good.
Beyond good.

Such great gluten free options! The blue berry pancakes are my favorite. Be sure to specify GF and severity and they will put on fresh gloves, utensils, and clean the grill. Didn't get sick once. Just be sure to get there early to avoid a long wait.
Yes
The food was amazing. Excellent GF pancakes in a variety of flavors. I did not get sick which was a bonus on vacation. Customer service was awesome too!
Yes
They do warn of cross contamination, however, they assured me that they clean the surfaces prior to preparing your meal if you have a gluten allergy. I had chocolate chip pancakes and it was great!! No reaction and so nice to get a treat like that.
Amazing experience. Waiter was very knowledgeable and considerate of gluten free accommodations. While there is no dedicated GF menu, the waiter explained that there were only 3 items on the menu that couldn’t be made GF, with the rest able too be modified. Pancakes were amazing and were brought out with a little “Gluten-Free” labeled toothpick.

Love love this place. I’ve visited this place multiple times and love the food. Everything is always labeled with allergy sticks. And they’re willing to make anything on the menu gluten-free including their special pancake flavors. Get the pancake flight. You won’t regret it!
