So Sushi personnel claimed to be knowledgeable about GF preparation. Their sashimi "protein-style" roll came out with krab in it; they claimed it was GF but they were very confused why it would possibly contain wheat (most still does); no label to read. They replaced the roll, and it came out with tempura battered shrimp in it - I ate one of these before realizing the crunchy texture that shouldn't be there. They waffled around the subject then brought out a corn starch label, saying it was only corn starch and was made separately.
And then the stomach pain started.
