Dedicated gluten free griddle and cooking utensils. One staff person knew the protocol well for celiac disease and avoided cross contamination. Just be wary because the other staff person did not — find the ally and have him cook the food. Delicious highly recommended: we enjoyed the cheddar mozzarella, Nutella strawberry, and cheese spinach mushroom. Yum!

Staff was warm, friendly, and knowledgeable and used dedicated gf crepe stone and utensils. Totally worth the extra for the chick pea batter and plenty filling!

This place is great provided you know to tell the staff to clean the grill surface and use clean utensils--I've never had a problem when asking staff to do this but first timers will want to be aware that there seems to be varying knowledge of celiacs among the staff. That aside, service has always been happy to accommodate me and the crepes are delicious.

Outstanding service, quality, and taste at the Reistertown Rd restaurant. They have a crepe stone and utensils set aside specific for celiacs to prevent any potential cross contamination. The crepe filling ingredients were not separated, but the lovely ladies making the crepes did not have cause to touch both gluten and non gluten ingredients. They were great and I highly recommend them for celiacs!!!!

Sofi's Crepes was a favorite pre-diagnosis, and I can assure you their crepes are tasty. That said, I've been to many locations, and they all make their gf crepes on the same griddle as the regular ones. Because half the ease of making crepes comes from not cleaning the griddle in-between orders, they won't clean it before making yours. I get why logistically, especially at smaller locations like the one on Charles, but that means if you're particularly sensitive or you have Celiac's that this is not a safe place to eat. Another note: even the buckwheat crepe batter has a LOT of dairy in it, so if you're dairy sensitive then I would also give this place a pass.

We went to the Charles Street locations and ordered to go. They gave us all regular crepes instead of buckwheat and I got very ill.

The York Rd store makes ALL crepes on the same cooker. The staff who laughed at me, can't understand how the crepe can be GF and I say it can't if you cook it on the same cooker as gluten crepes. These guys are morons. This is a highly dangerous place for celiacs.

The buckwheat and chickpea crepes are awesome. My wife is allergic to wheat and dairy - no reactions here! Staff was super helpful. We'll be back for sure!

staff was very knowledgeable about gluten free prep. they use separate utensils and used a clean stove for my crepe.
They have a gluten free crepe option (buckwheat) unsure if they take cross-contamination precaution but you can ask! I’m celiac and eat here every now and then and don’t get sick

Great to find gluten free crepes, but the mix they use has no taste at all. Would be more tasty to just pick the toppings out, which is what I had to do.

Staff at this location are very knowledgeable! They have a gluten free batter they use and immediately asked if it was a preference, medical condition or allergy. When I stated allergy he said it would take a few extra minutes as he needed to switch out the equipment, clean all the surfaces and switch utensils. I watched him go through this whole process and was very impressed. My crepe (bacon, egg & cheese) was delicious! This was hands down the safest place I ate over a week in Baltimore and is the first time in days I’m not sick. I cannot recommend this spot enough! We can wait to come back!
