Halfway through my salad I found a crouton....yikes. Spoke with manager and he acknowledged that it should not be there. He apologized and gave me a new salad. Hoping the charcoal pills will help with the gluten. Until now this was my favorite pizza place. 😢
Their GF Crust is SO YUMMY! I always have to double check that it's Gluten Free. I have eaten here a zillion times without issue and it's always great!
Most of their menu items can be made GF, and their crust is great. They even have GF white sauce. Will definitely be coming here again.
Tastes great but I did get glutened my last trip there :( it wasn't horrible but definitely noticeable.
We come to Spin! All the time for their gluten free pizza. It's the best gluten free pizza in the area. Fresh good quality topping and amazing salads and soups that are all can be made gluten free!
The food, service and variety of options are all excellent! I was very impressed by my entire experience.
They have GF crusts that are really good and not too dry or crispy. I don’t know a lot about their protocol but they have enough gluten-y items on the menu that I caution other celiacs as, especially with all of the flour in the air, the risk is never 0! It would be worth calling and asking.
Their GF crust is great! I haven’t tried their cauliflower crust but have tried various sizes of their original GF crust and they’ve all tasted good. They can make most of their pizzas GF and have side salads.
I haven’t gotten sick eating here. The staff is very knowledgeable and can answer questions!

They do offer gluten free crust or a cauliflower crust. They said they would clean the area they make the pizzas and change their gloves. However, when they the gluten free ones, they use the same topping station as the regular pizzas. When they make their regular pizzas, they cover the area in front of the topping with flour, the flour goes into the toppings. They also reach into the toppings with gloves covered in flour. Too much risk for cross contamination.
Would not recommend if you have Celiac and normally follow your GF diet.
Pros- Staff was super knowledgeable. Great GF crust. Some toppings do have gluten (meatball and sausage), but the staff will let you know.
Con- I think that cross-contamination did occur. They make their own crust (both gluten free and regular). After I got home, my stomach started acting up and was bloated. 😔
They asked if it was preference or allergy and when I said allergy they cleared off the flour from the cooking space. The food was great and it came fast. I did not get sick from eating it.
Loved this place before I was diagnosed with celiac. Ate the gluten free crust and asked them to change gloves and all because I am very sensitive. Got super sick and tested with my Nima sensor and it had gluten. It’s a risk eating anywhere, but sadly it’s not celiac safe!
My daughter has celiac disease and has had the kids GF pizza and GF ice cream on several occasions. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I always let them know she has celiac when I place her order.
DO NOT eat here if you want gluten free. They sent us home with Regular flat bread the said was GF. And one of our pizzas was not GF when it was suppose to. Their response, oh well. They do not actually care anything about protecting people so my advice would be to stay far, far away.
I’m not usually as reactive as some people I know, but I got sick from eating here. Not sure if they accidentally messed up my order or if it was cross contamination, but I don’t think I will be going back. It’s too bad because the food was really good.
Wow... Can't believe how this place has changed in the last 2 years. Cross contamination is a huge problem. They toss flour in the air and on the counter where they are preparing the gf pizzas, and they cook them on the same surface as non-gf pizzas. On one visit I explained to the lady that gf was not a choice but a necessity. She became rude and said she couldn't help me if I didn't tell her what I wanted on my pizza. Then they brought me what was clearly a regular non-gf pizza. When I asked if it was gf, the waiter asked me if I wanted it to be gf. I wanted to give them another try so went back again. This time I got a gf pizza, but with ingredients on it that I did not order. What's more I unwrapped my silverware from what turned out to be a dirty napkin.
Enjoyed a very good GF meal here. Many interesting choices of 6” or 12” wood fired pizzas, minestrone soup (w/o pasta), salads. Has hard cider and GF beer. I had a 6” primavera pizza that had roasted veggies, goat cheese and red sauce as well as the minestrone soup which had a nice smoky taste. I prefer a gf crust that is well done to avoid the doughier taste. I would probably ask them to cook it a little longer. It was still very good. If I lived in the area, I would definitely be a frequent customer! So many things to try. I am not celiac but they did ask me if it was a preference or an allergy.
I can be honestly say I'm carbed out of my mind me. GF pizza (and non dairy cheese) out of this world. Flat bread with white bean shmear that was GF and non dairy (ask for non dairy or ya get parm on it). A GF beer and a hard cider.
Roll me to the car. I'm in be heaven.
Their staff is not knowledgeable and the gluten free crusts are cooked on the same flour-laden surfaces as the regular crusts. I’ve tried multiple times to eat here, and I’ve always gotten sick. It’s a never again for me — not even salad.
Watch them make your pizza. First attempt, I watched a guy with flour covered hands shaping the GF dough and put in oven. Asked for a received a re-do. So I’d say food preparer education is not super high. Great food though.
I've eaten at the PV location many times with no issues. I inform them of my allergy, they change glove and take care not to cross contaminate. Unfortunately, I got sick after my visit on 7/24/17. I had a GF pizza and Greek salad. This restaurant is crossed off my safe list.
Delicious pizza. I asked questions before purchasing and the gal at the register said they were very careful here with gf. They change gloves, work with gf pizza in a separate end of the assembly line. They have a separate oven for gf. This pizza was thin but the delicious! Will go back.
My parents ate at this place and asked the server if they had GF pizza and if it's safe for people with celiac disease. The guy said that they use separate pans and change gloves and made it seem like they were super careful. So my parents told me that they thought this would be a good place for me to eat since I have celiac and they said the pizza was so good. We did go and get pizza to go and had a salad while we waited and I had a GF margarita with pepperoni to go. I have to say the pizza was one of the best GF I've ever had. However, definitely NOT safe for people with celiac. I have been sick for a week.
They have a dedicated GF oven, they have GF practices such as storing the GF pizza/flatbread dough in separate refrigerators, and changing their gloves before handling. They also have GF beer that is NOT hard cider! My favorite part of going there before I was diagnosed with Celiac was their flatbread with my salad- I was so thrilled to learn I can still have flatbread- and actually it tastes better than the original! Thank you Spin for giving me some semblance of my old life back, where I know I can safely enjoy food!
I'm GF but not celiacs. This was yummy! They do say on the menu that they have ambient flour in the air. Salad was fantastic. Patio is dog friendly.
Delicious house-made GF crust, fresh ingredients. I had the Sonoma salad and pizzas with 1. Prosciutto, spinach, and fig marmalade and 2. Olive & Artichoke. Both were delicious! I would definitely come back. Also, great local cider on tap.
I've had symptoms a few times from eating the pizza, they cook on the same surface and don't do well avoiding cross-contamination. I only order salad here, and you have to make sure you mention an "allergy" because if you don't they still might put the side of bread on your plate.
