take out...very slow service
I got glutened here twice. The staff said all the right things about cross contamination and they seemed to take Celiac seriously - but clearly something is not right in their kitchen.
Delicious pizza. I asked questions before purchasing and the gal at the register said they were very careful here with gf. They change gloves, work with gf pizza in a separate end of the assembly line. They have a separate oven for gf. This pizza was thin but the delicious! Will go back.
They have a dedicated GF oven, they have GF practices such as storing the GF pizza/flatbread dough in separate refrigerators, and changing their gloves before handling. They also have GF beer that is NOT hard cider! My favorite part of going there before I was diagnosed with Celiac was their flatbread with my salad- I was so thrilled to learn I can still have flatbread- and actually it tastes better than the original! Thank you Spin for giving me some semblance of my old life back, where I know I can safely enjoy food!
Delicious, good options, server seemed knowledgeable about safety.
I've gotten sick now 3 times after eating here. It's delicious, but there is no way it's GF.
Delicious! Wonderful staff and the best gf pizza I've had. Our waitress said she orders the GF pizza sometimes even though she is not GF. It tastes that good as a thin crust pizza.
Some of the best GF pizza I have eaten. I don't have celiac but do have a little intolerance, but it was quite delicious.
Fabulous attention to detail on cross contamination. Didn't know GF pizza could taste so good. WONDERFUL.
Gluten free kids size pizza (cheese or pepperoni). GF crust was $1.50 up charge for kids pizza or $3 for 12 inch pizza. Excited to see a place with GF kids pizza! Very tasty.
Great gf pizza! I was in heaven!!
Top notch delicious gluten free pizzas
Thought it was very good!
Super yummy gluten free! Easy and no hassle to order GF.
great service, knowledgeable, good pizza, crust was crispy and tasty.
Best gluten free pizza I tasted! Amazing service and people as well!!!!
the crust is thin and ours was burnt a little bit
I can be honestly say I'm carbed out of my mind me. GF pizza (and non dairy cheese) out of this world. Flat bread with white bean shmear that was GF and non dairy (ask for non dairy or ya get parm on it). A GF beer and a hard cider. Roll me to the car. I'm in be heaven.
I've eaten at the PV location many times with no issues. I inform them of my allergy, they change glove and take care not to cross contaminate. Unfortunately, I got sick after my visit on 7/24/17. I had a GF pizza and Greek salad. This restaurant is crossed off my safe list.
My parents ate at this place and asked the server if they had GF pizza and if it's safe for people with celiac disease. The guy said that they use separate pans and change gloves and made it seem like they were super careful. So my parents told me that they thought this would be a good place for me to eat since I have celiac and they said the pizza was so good. We did go and get pizza to go and had a salad while we waited and I had a GF margarita with pepperoni to go. I have to say the pizza was one of the best GF I've ever had. However, definitely NOT safe for people with celiac. I have been sick for a week.
I'm GF but not celiacs. This was yummy! They do say on the menu that they have ambient flour in the air. Salad was fantastic. Patio is dog friendly.
We are here today. the pizza, salads and ice cream were exceptional. The young woman at the register was knowledgeable about Celiac. in fact she was diagnosed as a child. She was very helpful, and gave me some suggestions of some of her favorites. I was very pleased with her recommendations. My husband is not GF, and was very pleased with everything he ate also. We will be going back again.
I've had symptoms a few times from eating the pizza, they cook on the same surface and don't do well avoiding cross-contamination. I only order salad here, and you have to make sure you mention an "allergy" because if you don't they still might put the side of bread on your plate.
From a celiac's perspective, do not eat the gluten free pizza here, it is not safe. The staff was very friendly and tried to help, and although they had heard of celiac disease, they did not seem to understand cross-contamination. The compact prep area has the (gluten) pizza dough directly next to all of the toppings, which are not covered. Every time they set the pizza dough on the board in front of the toppings, a cloud of flour blows out and settles on the toppings. The manager was very reassuring that they make hundreds of GF pizzas a month and he's never heard of any problems, but obviously this is not a safe place for a celiac to eat pizza. He thought the heat of the pizza oven would "kill" the gluten but as a celiac knows, it does not - even if it is charred. I opted instead for a salad, which are prepared in an area off to the side. After sending the salad back because it came out with a piece of bread, they gave me a complimentary GF flatbread with rosemary and parm that they cooked in a clean pan so it wouldn't touch the oven surface (which I suggested that they cook for celiacs in this way - they had never heard of this - before I saw the clouds of flour). I did not eat it, and let my husband have it. The salad was good, but the false assurances I received makes me too uneasy to return to this restaurant.
I've been here several times with no problem I love their pizza I was asked for extra sauce and extra cheese! And I love their gelato!
Gf pizza is good but prepared on same surfaces as wheat based. Dairy free cheese is available but sparse. My kids love it anyway. I am gluten and dairy sensitive, usually get salad, and HAVE had symptoms from eating here on more than one occasion.
Love their GF pizza crust. They also have GF salad dressing. For dessert, you can get some GF gelato. The order taker was very helpful and knowledgable.
I had the sausage and apple GF pizza. Thin crust and a little burnt, but pretty tasty. They buy the gf crusts outside to avoid cc. Not too much too it, my husband and I split a 12 inch and I was still hungry. You do order up front which I didn't realize, and sat down with my menu for about 20 minutes before I figured it out, which was a bit frustrating. They charge $3 extra for GF pizza.
The gluten free pizza crust is so yummy. They prepare the GF pizzas in a different area and have a separate oven they cook them in.
Great crust for the pizza. Can make almost everything on menu GF
The pizzas are always fantastic. I love going here with my family and knowing that we can indulge in some great pizza without worrying about the nasty gluten side effects. The only thing I would say beyond that is the service is very friendly but also very relaxed. I don't like being checked on by a waiter every few minutes, but each time we go here we are lucky if they ever come by again after delivering the food which makes getting a drink refill tough.
