We were visiting San Diego and have a six year old that has Celiac. We don't eat out often, as we don't want to deal with what might happen if we aren't too careful. We wanted to eat out instead of cooking in at least one night on our trip. I checked on my app and found Stacked to be a good option to try at sometime during our stay. We incorporated it into our Sea World day, since it was very close. Each table has its own iPad to order with or you can do it the traditional way via your server. Our server was very pleasant and helpful. The server explained the gluten free symbology embedded in the iPad menu, which was very easy to use. Each option that is gluten free has a symbol tied to it to denote it as such. Your overall meal will have that symbol, until you choose a gluten filled option which will then cause it to go away. They had many gluten free options on the menu pasta, pizza crust, buns, cookies for a few of them. My daughter was a typical kid and wanted a cheese pizza. They only have one size gluten free crust, but that wasn't an issue since both our kids could share the pizza. Me and my wife decided to go with a pizza as well and build our own gluten free one, which was very easy to accomplish with the gluten free symbols on the iPad menu. We got the kids pizza ordered first so of course it was the first meal to arrive, which my daughter was eager to try. She gave it two thumbs up after the first bite. Our pizza arrived shortly after, which we agreed with our daughter as being delicious. When dessert time came around, they have a gluten free chocolate chip cookie, which my daughter was able to enjoy as an ice cream sandwich with some vanilla ice cream. She thoroughly enjoyed it, as it was nice to be able to have dessert out as well. I would highly recommend this place for someone looking to have a good night with some great food.
