Review of Staks Pancake Kitchen

First of all, I am gluten-sensitive, not celiac, so avoiding gluten is by choice, and I would never put the burden on a restaurant that serves other gluten-containing items to accommodate a critical allergy. This is a pancake house after all, so no guarantees of eliminating all cross-contamination! That being said, I received very friendly and helpful (counter) service here. All the eggs, meats and omelettes can be served GF. I did not try the GF buckwheat pancakes. I chose the *delicious* Power Breakfast of egg whites (scrambled perfectly soft and fluffy), chicken sausage, sliced tomatoes and avocados, and fresh fruit. Threw in a side of their special non-GMO Gouda grits.... really yummy. No reaction and I thoroughly enjoyed everything! Love that they use pastured eggs, local meats, and non-GMO corn grits. Will bring my non-GF kids here to try cooking their own pancakes.... they have a couple special tables with griddles in the middle for that!
