DO NOT DO IT Worst experience I’ve had in a long time. Called ahead and was assured by GM Nick that most menu items were or could be made gf. He told me to make sure the wait staff knew and they’d take care of us. Waitress was not knowledgeable about gf, asked for Nick and was told he quit that day. Manager was HORRENDOUS and rude telling me NOTHING could be made gf including the rice! She told me I was ‘causing a scene’ when I asked if there was anything I could eat and proceeded to blame everything on Nick. We were a party of 5 and the 3 non-gf had already ordered so asked for it to go. They even screwed up that order, the veggies were cold and the food (they said) was not very good. Super disappointed.
This is a new restaurant==only been open a few weeks. The cuisine is fresh and international. Nothing was marked GF but our waitress was understanding—if not completely versed in GF and the chef came out to talk with me. He understands GF totally and was able to alter several dishes to meet my needs. I settled on one of the bowls—Caribbean shrimp and scallops. Delicious!! He selected only GF items for me and put it all together with rice and it was wonderful. I really enjoy more complicated combinations of flavors—and I got it!!!
