Visited this place with my family. I asked if any of the meat contained gluten, the person helping me had no idea what gluten was. She asked her coworkers and no one was able to answer our questions regarding gluten. We opted to leave.
— Not at all
— No gluten-free information on the menu
My husband, son and I all ordered some variation of nachos. According to the allergen menu, the chips don’t contain wheat. We asked for a glove change and the same person handled the construction of our entire meal. An hour later, 2 of us are having a reaction. So, eat at your own risk. Cute and clean place. Good salsa bar.
When ordering we asked the employee to please change his gloves before prepping our food. He immediately asked if it was due to an allergy need (which it was-Celiac). He then made my burrito bowl and followed it down the entire line so that he was the only one to touch my food or plate. His manager “fussed” at him for not being on his section of the line. When he told her that they had a customer with a gluten allergy and he was following the plate all the way until it was done, per their policy. She immediately said “ok” and on we went. It was a fantastic experience and a place that now feels safe to eat in this town. Thank you!!!
