They don’t have the hugest selection of gluten-sensitive (yes, sensitive. It says so right on the menu, and they don’t have a dedicated fryer) items, but what they do have are chicken and waffles! Catfish! Popcorn chicken! Things I’d never thought I would eat again. And it’s so good.

Exactly what we were looking for, gluten sensitive fried chicken, okra, chicken strips, fries and more. Service was great and food was great.

My husband said this is the best fried chicken he's had since going gluten-free. He ordered like half a bird with gluten free waffles, and said it was just like regular fried chicken from before his doctor told him to get off of gluten. We went during a saints playoff game, and as a saints bar, the place was packed and rowdy (we found it entertaining, but others may not enjoy that).

Fried pickles, popcorn chicken, and fried chicken gluten free... this one of my favorite places ever. Slow service sometimes, but it is well worth the wait for a true celiac.

We went to eat here because of the reviews but they do not have a dedicated fryer so anything gluten free that is fried will be cross contaminated. They also don’t have any GF substitutes so no waffles, pancakes or breads. If you are celiac the main thing you can have is eggs/omelettes. We had to walk out and not eat there because it wasn’t safe for my celiac husband. He also has an egg allergy so there was nothing for him to eat. If GF is only a food preference it is probably a good option but not if you are celiac.

I called them”do you REALLY have gf southern fried chicken & waffles?” Response “yes we do” me “all day? Till you run out?” Response “all day, we don’t run out”. You get me gf people, you know how hard eating can be. Go hungry and don’t expect to walk well after, I had FRIED popcorn catfish, Southern Fried chicken and beautiful crispy waffles, all gf. This is not fast food, it’s a restaurant with happy and beautiful staff, that bring you “home made” food. Go go go to this fun restaurant. I had no problems, other than eating too much and proceeding to waddle back to the hotel.

I ordered the gluten free chicken and waffles but the server came back from the kitchen and said they can’t serve their gf food to people who have allergy because it’s shared dryers and equip and prep doesn’t avoid contamination. We left.

The gf fried chicken and waffle was delicious. The staff was all very friendly, but service was a little slow. I thought it was a little overpriced too, but I would go back.

They have GF fried chicken. It's the best I've ever had. I did not get sick and had the best experience. Hand cut fries too.
