As a gluten intolerant person and not full-blown celiac I decided to give these donuts a try as shared fryers normally do not bother me. However, within about 45 minutes of eating a doughnut my gut was in spasms and I was stuck in the bathroom, Don’t do it!

Donuts are cut on the same dough table as regular donuts (meaning they are coated in wheat flour) and fried in a shared fryer before being dunked in the same glaze as the regular donuts. Sugar Shack is amazing for non-GF people and fad-dieters but no one with an allergy should eat here. Staff is knowledgeable and will inform you of that.

GF only on Mon, Tues, Fri. :-(
The brick and mortar location is not Gluten Free and is not safe for Celiacs. The woman said it's "Gluten Friendly," meaning they use GF ingredients but the same dough table and the same oil as their gluten items. Cross-contamination risk is extremely high and I did not risk getting sick. She said there's a GF Truck they have at some point in the year, but that was of no help to me when I visited this location. The staff was extremely apologetic and seemed to sincerely be sad that I couldn't eat anything there, but honestly I wish they just didn't advertise that location as having GF options since that's not actually true for those of us who get sick if we consume gluten. "Gluten Friendly" is NOT THE SAME as Gluten Free.

Staff super friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommended.
Sugar Shack has opened a dedicated gluten free donut truck! They offer different flavors and they are absolutely delicious! Right now they are only doing the food truck a couple days a week so check hours and location of truck beforehand!
