Not Celiac Friendly. Made in same fryer.

We were excited to finally get a gf donut! We drove 30 minutes out of our way to get there and were very displeased to be told by the person behind the counter that they aren’t gluten free. She referred to their donuts as “gluten friendly” which is normally the “we can’t guarantee their won’t be any cross contamination” answer you get everywhere, but went on to explain that while their donuts are made using gluten free flour they dust the finished products with flour so they don’t stick to the racks they store them on. She then seemed surprised that we were not going to get any. That was possibly the most frustrating part because she didn’t seem to understand that we don’t eat gluten because it would make us ill, and that it isn’t just a fad. I would give this place negative stars if I could.

AMAZING Gluten free donuts everyday that they can top with tons of options. Not celiac friendly but I'm extremely sensitive and have never been sick!
After waiting for them to open for 10 minutes at 7:10, they informed us they no longer carry gf
— No gluten-free information on the menu

As a gluten intolerant person and not full-blown celiac I decided to give these donuts a try as shared fryers normally do not bother me. However, within about 45 minutes of eating a doughnut my gut was in spasms and I was stuck in the bathroom, Don’t do it!

Donuts are cut on the same dough table as regular donuts (meaning they are coated in wheat flour) and fried in a shared fryer before being dunked in the same glaze as the regular donuts. Sugar Shack is amazing for non-GF people and fad-dieters but no one with an allergy should eat here. Staff is knowledgeable and will inform you of that.
