Review of Sundae School Ice Cream

(Cutie girl's mom says...) The dedicated allergy freezer is a great idea, but the young summer staff person who took our order first told us anything in the case was gluten free - including the cookie dough and Oreo flavored, then when we questioned that, she said avoid anything with additives. We asked about the mint chip and she then asked "Why would there be gluten in chocolate chips?" She then asked someone else who said the mint chip was fine. The handling was also a little confused. Our scooper washed her hands and arms really well, but when there was no clean allergy scoop, she only washed up one and scooped out three different flavors with the same scoop, which made me wonder about possible cross-contamination with the Oreo and cookie dough flavors. No one got sick, but all noted the ice cream was a bit freezer burned/stale which made us think the allergy case contents don't turnover that frequently.
