Review of Sunflower Bakehouse

Service here was exceptional & the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the half southwest salad & half sunflower cali sandwich, & the GF focaccia on the sandwich was DIVINE! Also, you MUST eat the carrot cake cupcake if you go...it's the best GF dessert I have ever had & I plan to return solely for the purpose of eating that cupcake.

I felt completely safe eating here as someone who is extremely sensitive to cross-contamination & hasn't safely eaten out since my diagnosis 2yrs ago.

Restaurant is 100% vegan & the bakery section is 100% vegan/dedicated gluten free. The ONLY gluten/wheat in the entire restaurant comes from a few wheat buns/hoagies that are offered as options for their sandwiches/burgers - but these are stored in a completely separate area/dedicated container in the kitchen. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about cross-contamination & the severity of Celiac disease (you should still notify them of this while ordering). They take every precaution to provide those with Celiac disease & other dietary restrictions with a safe & enjoyable dining experience. I cannot wait to go back!
