Review of Super Rico Colombian Restaurant & Bar

Just ate there and was excited to try empanedas and yucca fries. I spoke to the owner and unfortunately they can't do that due to yucca fries being from a new vendor and they have wheat flour on them. Not all the employees were versed in GF issues, but two were and they helped ensure things went smoothly. They only have a common fryer so all FRIED THINGS are no longer GF (due to the yucca fries). They can grill the arepas and you can have a burger between two grilled arepas. Guacamole was excellent - they sliced up grillled arepas instead of providing tortilla chips. What we had was good, but be wary due to the reduced menu options. We would go back if the fryer/yucca supplier issue is resolved.
