Lady who took my order said she also had a gluten order and said I could get any burrito in the form of a bowl and it would be safe. It was a 35 min wait and they brought me a burrito. I took it back to them and she 15 minutes later brought a bowl. It didn’t look that appetizing I had a few bites and then began to get immeadiate stomach pain. Not necessarily glutened, but greasy and spicy and had dairy, for my fellow sensitive stomach gals! Wouldn’t go back. Pricey and always busy 😕
The entire menu is Gluten friendly the corn oil, corn tortillas, beans, rice, salsas, guacamoles, sauces are not made with any wheat or flour ingredients. However, this is a taco truck, so space is limited and equipment is shared, they do serve flour tortillas which can cross contaminate. They do not have a dedicated space, they do scrape down the grill frequently. They will also remove ingredient such as dairy if asked. Beans and rice are vegetarian. Corn tortillas are clearly marked on Menu. Everything is delicious. Local caught fish, some organic produce such as mixed greens, limes, cilantro. Handmade corn tortillas.
Gluten friendly options; handmade corn tortillas, rice, beans, salsas, sauces, proteins, corn chips, gaucamole, drinks, pico. Not a dedicated space due to it being a taco truck with limited cooking space. will wipe down, scrape grill if asked. most staff is knowledgeable, new staff may require training, so if cashier doesn't know, kitchen staff is aware and can help.
The tacos use corn tortillas. They can modify to remove cheese and there are veggie options. The menu isn’t marked and they fry flour tortillas. It’s a food truck so unlikely that there is a dedicated space. We asked the woman working at the register if they had any gluten free options that were safe for allergies. She asked if there was gluten in corn (ahh) and that’s when we knew that this was probably not a safe place for those with celiac, like myself. They do have sides of rice, beans, chips, etc.
