Visited Sushi Hatsu for the first time last night. Sushi and other Asian cuisine always worries me with the amount of soy sauce and I was worried about a lack of options. I was pleasantly surprised with how attentive the server was. He said they are working on a real GF menu but gave me a hand marked menu with what I could and couldnt have. unfortunately the sticky rice does have gluten from some vinegar they use, it had a note "very little gluten but not for celiac" so i felt very comfortable with how informed their kitchen must be. that being said options were relatively limited by that. Sashimi, some grill options, a few entrees, including a salmon dish and miso soup. I had the miso soup which was delicious as well as a delicious raw fish dish that I cant remember the name. Sit at the sushi bar to watch them make the rolls!
