Our daughter celiac and we all eat GF. Chef Jeff has worked in industrial kitchens with strict GF and allergen protocols, and when you call him and advise that you are a Celiac he knows the drill. He knows all the ingredients, and can walk you through his protocol, which includes a dedicated GF cutting board, clean knives, and even a clean piece of fish (he won’t use the fish that he’s used for previous orders because the knife may have left gluten on the fish). All he asks in return is a bit of extra time to prepare the order with care.
My only wish is that he had a gluten free menu, but calling him and talking through the order is no big deal.
Also, the fish met our standards, matching standbys like Kibo and Totto.

The owner and chef are very knowledgeable about cross contamination and celiac protocol. I felt very confident eating here. And the sushi was amazing. Very fresh fish.

I have eaten several take out meals from here and it has always been delicious and safe. Just need to ask the restaurant what is and isn't ok - they can also make substitutions to remove gluten ingredients where possible.

call Chef Jeff and tell him you have Celiac. He is familiar with the drill and very knowledgeable about his ingredients and protocol. He doesn’t up charge, he just asks for more time to be thorough.
The owner was able to point out right away what I could eat from the menu. When I asked for gluten free sushi rolls, gluten free soy sauce was given without asking. The owner seems pretty aware of gluten free needs, and the sushi itself was good!
