I was very disappointed in Sushi Nine. They worked with me to find gluten free options….but it took forever to get our food and when it did arrive there was tempura on it. I told the waiter that I needed gluten free and he assured me that it was. It clearly wasn’t. It took quite a bit of time to get the correct order and when it did come, it did not have the boiled shrimp that I asked for. Sadly, I won’t be returning and would be skeptical to recommend this place to anyone else.

Staff isn’t the most knowledgeable about gluten free options and the menu isn’t clearly marked. Every time I go in, someone tells me something different, so I typically order the same thing each time. They have also given me items with regular soy sauce, so make sure to double check with them once they bring your food out (and especially if you order take out). I have been glutened here before and I think it was because the spicy mayo was not GF, so steer clear of that. However, there have been plenty of times when I don’t get sick, so my safe go-to’s are the chicken hibachi with gluten free soy sauce and white rice (since the fried rice uses regular soy sauce), the endless rain rolls and the edamame.

Have gluten free soy sauce for hibachi. Waiter recommended I order chicken hibachi w/ white rice & veggies & I had no issues. Can order for delivery as well, online order through their website has option to select allergies! They are my take out go to, never had an issue. Sushi rolls can also be made gluten free.
