The bakery items are really good, but when I had spoken to the staff they had told me that they used gluten-free ingredients, but it would not be safe from a contamination standpoint as they don't use a separate area of the kitchen or separate, celiac friendly bakeware. Maybe their policies have changed, but I would be very careful if you're concerned about cross contamination.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Good

While attending a wedding weekend in Bangor, Maine... We came across this AWESOME little bakery! Tracy, working the counter, was incredibly helpful and super friendly! We visited on a Sunday morning and were happy to see the great selection of GF goodies. She did tell us that every Saturday is when they offer the largest selection of gluten free sweets.

She suggested the "Carmelita Square" and trust me, if you're a fan of great caramel you'll love it! Also got the Oatmeal cookie made with chocolate chips, raisins & pumpkin! Delicious!!! Bought the GF German Chocolate Cake (big enough for 2 people)... Can't wait to enjoy with hot tea later today. I've no doubt it'll be great.
