When I asked if their gluten-free options were celiac safe, they replied with “what does safe mean?”
Not super confidence inspiring.

We went here for breakfast. The food here is great but anything toasted is at risk for cross contamination, so my daughter had cold GF bread (from Udi’s). They also had some GF pastries and cookies. We were grateful they understood cross contamination and gluten.

They answered my questions and made me feel very safe about cross contamination. I got a burrito bowl! Their pastries are very good too.

Well, I tried to eat here. All I ended up with was a coffee (which was decent). I explained to the employee that I have a lot of allergies and only wanted a side of tots (they are baked) and a side of bacon. That’s all I am able to eat (which I am used to while traveling). She explained to me that if I wanted the tots, I had to order a burrito bowl. I can’t eat eggs or dairy which I explained. I told her I just wanted a side of tots. She refused to sell them to me saying that people complained too much ordering them that way- that they are too plain/bland on their own. Having multiple food allergies, I am used to eating food for calories while traveling and not enjoyment. She didn’t give me a chance to explain things (that I really didn’t care how bland they are) and as there was a growing line behind me, I left.

What a gem! I had their breakfast burrito in a bowl. She gave me extra hash browns since I didn’t have the flour tortilla. She, I think was the owner, explain how they minimize cross contamination & all my options. It tasted like my mom cooked me a fresh breakfast!! I’d highly recommend!!!

It was really good. The only thing is they don’t have a gluten free toaster. So if you warm up your sandwich, there will be cross contamination.

Super knowledgeable and thoughtful staff. Will definitely be going here again if/when we are in the area! My son with Celiac loves his food and felt great afterwards. There were TONS of options. So grateful!

Very helpful server who gave a thorough description of what was safe and how they prepare the food. They don’t have a dedicated toaster so the bread is cold which was the only thing that wasn’t amazing. Lots of gf options for sandwiches though.

I loved this place! So helpful and friendly and willing to do what they could to make my food safe. I had the Starting right (scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and bacon) on gluten free bread and it was amazing!

I had a great experience. I asked for a sandwich of gluten free bread and she asked if it was an allergy or preference, I got a bit embarrassed as I was about to say allergy and she was so kind and encouraging. She told me about the measures they go through in the kitchen to try and eliminate cross contamination. She knew what chips I could and couldn't have from the racks and I got a gluten free coconut macaroon that was probably the best I've ever had! I thought more people should know that this place has great service, careful people, and really good food!

Woman said there is absolutely nothing that does not run a risk of cross contamination. All made in a shared kitchen with shared cooking surfaces. She was WAY hesitant trying to help me find something. I passed on getting anything at all because it felt too risky.

This place was great! I told the lady taking my order that my son and I had Celiac and she pointed me in the right direction to minimize any cross contamination and the sandwich was delicious!

I told the woman at the counter that I’m gluten intolerant and very allergic to dairy, and she knew EXACTLY what to recommend. I was impressed that she was able to give me multiple options, and it tasted great!

We stayed in Moab for 4 days and I ate lunch here every day! They are very careful and when I said I had Celiac they told me exactly what would be safe for me. The staff is super nice as well!! I ate different variations of turkey sandwiches each day and they were delicious and I never felt sick.

We came here on an extremely busy Memorial Day weekend, while it was raining so the place was packed. When I went to order and mentioned gluten free for one of the items (for my 10yo son who is celiac), the woman taking my order redirected me and said I should order the turkey or ham (not the roast beef or chicken). She also directed me to the GF chips! She also mentioned the cookies I had picked up might have a risk of CC. They were so insanely busy and having the cash register person take the time and ask ME all the interrogative questions was just simply amazing. Recommend 10000000000%

Knowledgeable staff. Cafeteria style. Cashier checked the ingredients of the Dirty Chai that I ordered to ensure no gluten containing ingredients. Cashier made note to the kitchen to ensure precautions. Cashier noted that GF sweets were made in same facility however precautions are taken while making to avoid cross contamination. Overall great experience. Food was exceptional. While eating, kitchen staff came out to inform someone with tree nut allergy that the English muffins are made in the same facility as tree nuts (proves that the kitchen double checks everything when an allergy is noted).

Had a great experience here for a quick lunch. Not only were they following all COVID-19 guidelines, but the staff was extremely knowledgeable about gluten free options and celiac safety. She recommended bagged potato chips vs. the potato salad/coleslaw that comes with their sandwiches because she couldn’t guarantee there was no cross-contamination. She asked if I was celiac and recommended I didn’t have my sandwich toasted and switched cheeses. All of this made me feel really confident in enjoying my sandwich and I was honestly really impressed by the texture of the bread untoasted, as typically gf bread is terrible that way :) haha. Thanks for a great experience!

Panini they grilled with foil to avoid cross contamination. Safe for Celiac and delicious chocolate brownie cookies!!! Very yummy and knowledgeable.
Yes
Staff is aware of what celiac is and how serious it is. The explained that they clean and prepare the line for people with food allergies. The person taking our order explained that a lot of people that work there have food issues so everyone knows how much it sucks to accidentally eat something you shouldn't. They replaced all the gluten things that normally came with lunch with something GF. They knew about cross continuation and cautioned me on what was safe for intolerant people versus celiac or allergy. Food was good. Did not get sick.

Great sandwiches available on gf bread. The staff is knowledgeable about celiac. Some desserts including macarons are available. Nice place to have lunch in Moab!
This place has wonderful food and they are very knowledgeable about celiac and other allergies. They cleaned the line before making my sandwich. Everyone was is so friendly and the coconut macaroons are amazing. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place to find sandwiches, sweet treats, and good drinks. Very accommodating to Celiac's, checking in with the kitchen (they were a little busy) before informing me what on the menu would be safe. Had one of their paninis on Udi's bread, it was amazing!

So good!! They let me know what I could have and told me how they prepared it so I knew it was safe. They also make lunches to go, so we are going to do that tomorrow to take into the park. They are very knowledgable and nice!

Great for celiacs. My daughter is very sensitive and they always help is find something safe. If they’re busy, they’ll steer you clear of anything from grill. Better to be safe! Great safe sides and macaroons. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Best place for celiacs in Moab.

They described how they took extra steps to ensure there was no cross contamination, before I even asked. Can't ask for any better than that!

Tasty GF sandwich! Udis bread. Loved it
Great gluten free sandwich choices served with gluten free sides and sweet treat. Also available gluten free brownie cookies.
The staff was very knowledgeable. It was a busy holiday so They suggested a cold sandwich over a grilled one due to cross contamination possibility on the grill, and not being able to take the normal precautions because they were backed up. I was happy to change my order to a cold sand which because they cared enough to ask about how sensitive I am to cc. She explained what meats were safer options, too. The gf baked goods are all wrapped and kept separate from regular baked goods. We had a great experience here, one of the best in 6 years of gluten free living.
Yes
The staff was very knowledgeable about cross contamination and food allergies, since the owner and three employees all have different allergies or sensitivities. I had the Tuscano grilled panini. While they did not have a separate grill, they did wrap my sandwich completely in aluminum foil. They also used separate utensils to handle my sandwich and described using separate condiments as well. They offer several GF baked goods and salads, though I did not try any during my visit. The kitchen is not dedicated GF, but for a shared kitchen space, I felt very comfortable eating here.
Yes
Great food and lots (!!) Of options.
Nice place, they offer gluten free bread for their sandwiches, have gluten free wraps, salads, etc. Lots of different sandwich options, very tasty. They seemed aware of celiac needs and understood cross contamination. Each of the workers we dealt with were absolutely lovely, each of them seemed knowledgeable to an above average degree about gluten free needs. The woman who checked us out even had celiac. They do offer a couple gluten free deserts but they are made in a regular bakery so I probably wouldn't try it. They even offered since they weren't terribly busy at the time to make us paninis by wrapping our sandwiches in aluminum foil to avoid cross contamination, which we did and I didn't get sick from it (celiac). The coleslaw is really delicious also. They do give you a sweet treat with your meal purchase so that's kind of neat but again I wouldn't necessarily trust their gluten free sweets, the employees also didn't recommend those for celiac. Would give 5 stars if there were safe gluten free sweets!
