The yogurt is clearly marked and the flavored are amazing. I can always count on this place, I love it! I never get the toppings because I avoid all forms of cross contamination. Also you can clearly see cookie crumbs on top of the other toppings, so avoid toppings to be safe.
Everything was very clearly labeled what was gluten free and safe. lots of options
All the ice creams are yummy and most are GF. I wouldn't trust the toppings d/t cc but I didn't ask for any accommodation (toppings from a new container or something). Might not be good for a gf kid, they would def want some of the yummy toppings.
Really nice staff. Great variety of gf yogurts. Had a concern about the toppings potentially being contaminated (by people dropping various gluten containing toppings into non-gluten toppings) and the worker, Kaitlyn, brought a new (non-contaminated) container out full of the toppings I wanted.
Awesome place! Celiac friendly as far as yogurt goes. The only gf "safe" topping is the Hershey's Syrup, but I can live with that!
Sweet Frog has an extensive allergy list of all of their flavors and they are clearly listed on sign over the machine. The only reason they did not get 5 stars is the open topping bins which can lead to contamination and while the staff showed me how to determine the yogurt they stopped their service there and did not offer any non contaminated toppings.
Above each yogurt machine is the name and all allergens, if it has a g it contains gluten. The first time I went I didn't know that and the staff was extremely helpful by going through a binder with all the names of the yogurts I could have. Almost all are gluten free. The toppings are pretty easy to tell which is gluten free and not.
SweetFrog does a great job of offering and labeling allergy-friendly frozen yogurt, unlike Iggys. I did not have to guess if the SweetFrog NY cheesecake flavor had gluten. The label said gluten free. For dairy and gluten, it will either say contains [allergen], or [allergen] free. Other allergens are only listed if the flavor contains them, such as peanuts, eggs, or soy. (It would be obnoxious to put peanut free on every other flavor, including mint.) There are also some non-fat and no-sugar-added flavors (when I was there it was NSA vanilla.)There is chance for cross contamination, especially when it comes to the toppings which range from fruit to Oreos.
Great place to get gluten free frozen yogurt or in our case we can't have gluten or dairy so we go for the sorbet. They have two sorbet flavors to choose from and a big variety of yogurt with tons of toppings. I have even contacted the main company to double chk on ingredients and I received several emails back reassuring me that everything was safe. The sorbet didn't even have food dye in it!
