The food was great, and the woman at the register was super friendly. She was new but very willing to find out information for me. They do have a shared oven, but they sanitize their work stations and utensils to prepare GF food items. She also wiped down the counter and took extra precautions when pulling out my baked goods from the case. I ordered a potato and leek quiche, and a rhubarb coffee cake. Delicious! The only downside is that there's not a lot of seating inside.

My wife and I (both celiac) have not felt any ill-effects from the many times we've visited. Sweet Mary's has one of the most diverse and downright delicious selections of GF baked goods in the Cleveland/Akron/Canton area. We've eaten at many GF bakeries across the country and we're grateful our favorite is only a 40 minute drive away.

Always have a good experience here. Staff are knowledgeable about CC and most GF items are kept in a separate case. Oven space is shared, but prep spaces are not.

So, I have had two very different experiences here. First time I dined in, had a great experience with the coffee cake. Then recently I had set up a tasting of cupcakes for my wedding cake. Told staff in the first correspondence that I have Celiac and was assured I could be accommodated. When I went to pick up the cupcakes, they were in a container with the regular ones, touching them (was going to have my bridesmaid taste test the regular ones for our other guests and do GF for my fiance and I and some select guests). When I explained that I couldn't use these for taste testing, I was told that had I let them know, they would have accommodated. I let them know that I had let them know. I was then told that they will not make my wedding cake because they do not take precautions in the kitchen to prevent cross contamination and they use shared equipment and oven space. The owner was very polite about it, basically said she didn't want me to take a risk of getting sick on my wedding day (which I appreciate) but it was a super bummer.

Wonderful gf quiche and macaroons! The staff was very knowledgeable about celiac and cross contamination.

There is street parking right in front of the shop. Love the gluten free options! Staff are very knowledgable about what is in their menu items. I had the GF kale, sweet potato, & gouda quiche and GF raspberry cream cheese walnut coffee cake... both were TO DIE FOR! Can wait to find a chance to get back there!
