When we say we have a gluten allergy, the staff member washes hands, puts on new gloves, etc. Most items on the menu are gluten free. It may be expensive for salads, but the ingredients are fresh and delicious and I am also willing to pay for someone to prepare them sometimes. I love this place.

These guys take allergies very seriously! All I have to do is say I have celiac and they immediately get the manager to make my salad, they wash their hands, use new gloves and usually have a separate dressing for allergies which is cool.
Yes
Food is great and they are celiac friendly. Unfortunately they are not friendly people. when I asked the girl to change her gloves after I saw her handling gluten ingredients, she rolled her eyes and was extremely rude to me. it's a shame that I won't be back.
Huge variety of fresh ingredients, labeled gf options on menu, and if you inform the worker of an allergy he/she will change their gloves. Healthy, safe, and yummy option!
Yes
Mediocre at best. They're over priced and their dressings are bulk Ken's dressing brand. Nothing special about them, I can gather organic ingredients at Whole foods and purchase Kens dressing too and make a $11 salad.
Salads are made to order. When you tell them you are gf, they change gloves, bowls, and tongs.
Yes
I asked the women working to change gloves as I have celiac and she happily did so and even washed her hands. All was well until she mixed my salad with the tongs that I believe are used for all the bowls and then asked if I wanted bread

Unlike other restaurants, Sweetgreen marks items that have gluten, versus those that are gluten free. A bit different, so I asked if what I ordered was gluten free. The server confirmed.
This is one of those "go down the counter" types of restaurants where they make it in front of you. The server asked me at end if I wanted bread, so they may have some additional education to do.
Food was very good and no reaction!

The people who work at this location are so sweet! If you tell them you have a gluten allergy they will have the manager make your salad. They will wash hands and change gloves and even offer to grab fresh ingredients for stuff that’s near the bread!

I love sweet green, I go all the time, and they are super nice about celiac. I just do a make your own bowl with romaine, carrots, cucumber, and roasted chicken, and it is amazing! I have been there at least 60 times and have never felt sick once!

Might be a different experience dining in, but my take out order that I specified gluten free for came with a huge piece of bread on top. So just might need to be extra explicit with them. I have eaten at another one of their locations in Chicago and didn’t have any problem with that location.
