Update November 2019 Visit: This was my fav restaurant until the last few visits when they didn’t appear to have the same standards for keeping things gf. Recently went with a group of people. The meal I ordered, the chef declined serving due to concerns for cross contamination and instead offered to make a dish of his choice. The meal he made was amazing. Sadly my daughter was served a grilled cheese sandwich that resulted in 8 hours of vomiting, which means a lot of gluten for her. The restaurant insists they served her sandwich on gf bread, although in retrospect it didn’t look like gf at all. When I spoke with the manager a few days later, they said that the gf bread is made by a local bakery. Of note, this bakery is not a gf bakery, which I found out after asking more questions on the phone. Needless to say, we were confused at how they could be so cautious with my meal and yet our daughter was clearly served gluten. The response by the restaurant did not leave us feeling inclined to return.

Prior review: Love, love, love this restaurant! Their chicken and waffles are so good, as are their other menu items. Great restaurant for pleasing those eating gluten and not.

Recently we visited and the manager came out to speak with us. Apparently a supplier had accidentally sent them a product with gluten, that Table 33 expected to be gluten free. Not realizing the error, Table 33 used it as part of a “gluten free” menu item and fried it in their gluten free fryer. Thankfully the error was caught before anyone was served but since they hadn’t been able to change out the oil, he let me know that the fried items couldn’t be done in their fryer. After hearing my disappointment, he kindly offered several other ways to prepare the chicken we’d ordered and it was AMAZING!

Moved by their attention to detail and excellent food!
