I'm a new celiac, so finding places to eat has been a nightmare. But I called ahead, and the worker was very kind over the phone when it came to answering my questions. They were very knowledgeable about gluten intolerance and celiac, and when the worker didn't know something, they asked the chef directly. They were so knowledgeable that the waiter stopped by my table just to remind me that my boyfriend's fries were not safe for me to eat.
They were also honest and let me know that their fryer, which is normally dedicated to GF foods, was temporarily not gluten free due to a special they were having that contaminated the oil. However, all their waffles and cast iron dishes are dedicated gluten free, and they are careful to separate breads from other foods. For once, there was plenty I could eat. And it was so delicious. Genuinely, truly delicious.
