Amazing food, the ice cream is to die for (and if you are a Celiac like me, I mean that literally). The staff at this establishment assured me (on multiple different visits) that the kitchen is dedicated gluten free, and that all their food is gluten free.
The ice cream Tacovore sells (while scrumptious!) is made in a facility that also processes gluten and makes no claim to be gluten free. Even worse, one of the flavors (Churro) actually CONTAINS wheat as an ingredient. The damage to my intestines is real and very painful.
Considering that Tacovore is not even checking for wheat as an (openly listed) ingredient, they may sell other products that contain wheat as well.
Tacovore owes it to their customers to either stop telling people they are gluten free, or actually sell only gluten free food. It’s wrong to tell Celiacs that the food is safe to eat and that the kitchen is dedicated gluten free when they sell food that is bought from a third party that makes regular gluten food. If you are Celiac you may as well call in sick for work at the same time as you place your order π
